Good accent piece

I purchased this ottoman as an accent piece for my office. It is as described and works for the space it’s needed. (It also serves as storage for my dogs extra toys and blankets.)

As pictured

Very attractive piece of furniture at a bargain price. Super easy to assemble. Seems very sturdy. My only complaint, which subtracts 1 star, is due to the box with the legs and fasteners not being properly secured. It caused quite a bit of damage to the interior cloth (which is really thin and fragile) during shipping. Yeah I could return it, but it's in the storage area, so meh.

Looks good and nice storage space

I was about to purchase one of those folding storage ottomans that are no more than a box when the Linon one caught my eye. I love the fact that it has legs and the print inspired by 18th and 19th century botanical illustrations made the ottoman stand out for me. It is about 31.5” long, 15.5” wide, and 11.5 tall. With the legs, the ottoman is 17” tall. For storage, it’s 7.5” deep. It ships in a sturdy cardboard box. The only assembly required is the legs, which was an easy thing to do. The instructions, the hardware and the hex key are included. The ottoman provides a place for us to sit and put on our shoes and it is also a good place to store some clothes and sheets. I wouldn’t put any heavy stuff in there or stand on the ottoman because it doesn’t have solid walls, but it’s a wooden frame with the fabric stretch over it. Having said that, my mother and I have seated on it side by side, so it can support 200 lb. or so. The lid is cushioned with what it feels like a thin layer of foam. It is comfortable enough for my purposes. One thing I was not too enthusiastic about is that the lid is not covered by one piece of fabric, but by 4 triangular pieces sewn together and the print design unfortunately does not match where the pieces come together. Also, the lid is darker than the rest of the ottoman. Other than those aesthetics details, I’m pretty happy with the ottoman. I think if it’s not treated roughly, it may last for a while. It looks classy and it provides me with much needed storage space.

Exactly what I needed

So it is perfect for what I needed it for. First it is very sturdy. I would feel very comfortable with my husband sitting on it, though it's not what it is intended for. The legs are solid wood and has rubber padding as to not scratch my flood. Took me longer to get it out of the box then to install the legs. It is very well packaged for shipping. I have been looking for something compact, attractive, and matches my decor that I can place my decorative bedding at night. It fits my bed sham pillows inside perfectly and my comforter on top and extra blanket. I hate placing all this on my antique rocker and every morning my comforter would somehow land on the floor. It looks high end and well made. The only issue I have is at the end of one area of stitching it was not knotted but it was something I could sew on my own and finish. As for others who complained about the crisscross stitching it honestly is not that noticeable, clearly part of the design of the peace so not structural to the fabric and can be removed pulled, if you know how, easily without damaging the fabric. Personally, I think it is a feature that makes it look more high end, though not very noticed, I will be leaving it as is. I am so happy I bought this!!

Great buy!

Great buy! Very easy to assemble. Definitely nice quality. I put it in the hallway to hold shoes under a mirror. Does have the four squares people mentioned on top but it isn’t noticeable and looks great. Had to stop myself from ordering another!

Legs are Sturdy. Height is Good. Size is as mentioned. Fabric quality is okay for the price but not great. Could have been better.

sturdy, comfortable, and cute

mere moments to put the legs on, the inside hinge is stable and strong, the fabric is what i expected and comfort and storage are as represented and the holes lined up and all needed to assemble included...omg... - my tiny grandma thumbs up - both of them - check the dimensions - it was perfect for me but read them!

Looks great on outside but there was some damage inside

Overall I like this bench but when I received it there area a few big holes in the fabric on the inside. Luckily the outside is fine so I kept it, mainly because it would have been a pain to return it. I filling it with scarves so hopefully no one else will notice the rips inside. It is sturdy and looks good in my entrance way so I am happy with it!
