Great except for the packaging
Would be five stars but the CUSTOMER PROOF packaging costs it a star. Need to use scissors. You'll probably get hurt if you use a box cutter. Recommended. Good price. They have different strengths so YMMV.

Not what I wanted but useful for tiny type
I wanted something to help me magnify type from about 8pt to 10 pt and these do not do that for me. In fact, I can see next to nothing through my trifocals with them but can see through the top part which is really for distance. And that doesn't really magnify at all. I think it may clarify the type some but I have an eye doctor appointment in three days so will likely get new glasses that will do that. Where these actually do help, however, is with tiny type that almost no one can read. Like the tiny font used at the very bottom of documents and labels. I can't read that with my glasses at all but with these I actually can and that is actually a pretty good thing because I like to read that small stuff. I have need to do so. But if my new glasses do it, I won't need them. Having said that, I'm not sure I have ever had glasses that let me read the tiny print. So while these are no good to me for most of my reading, I'll likely keep them just for the smallest of print. I'm talking about type of 6pt and less. And, the field of vision is perfect for reading a book or document or label. I do have to hold the document at about 8" however. That's closer than I typically hold a document. I'm thinking when you wear trifocals, you may require two or even three magnifications of these. One for super tiny print and one for the 8pt to about 11pt or thereabouts. But I think from not on I'll simply buy large or even giant print books. They seem pretty sturdy although this is my first day using them and they could break any minute. They are not especially comfortable, either wearing them or flipped up. But one can tolerate them. I can't say they're easy to use but I think that depends on the strength and type of glasses you wear. I'm sure each person has different needs and will find different results. I bought the +2.25.

great lenses!
I got these for my wife to use for her sewing. They worked great, and I find her using them for reading as well. The flipper-upper keeps the lenses out of the way when not needed; it doesn't show any signs of wearing out and not holding the lenses up.

A little distorting...
Overall I found these work but I would not buy again. I found at the 1.5x magnification these were slightly distorting and specteum refracting which may be partially due to my prescription (strong astigmatisms). There is also no included case as was with my previous pair from another manilufacturer (also only 1x). It did not take long for these to end up on the floorboard of my car and were easily broken. I had clipped to clothing to get them inside from the car. IMO it is worth a couple of dollars more for a pair that includes a hard case for secure pocket transport and likely more transparent lens.

Game changer for needlework
I do cross-stitch and struggled with 18 count pieces. These fit right over my glasses and make seeing the stitches crystal clear. Buy these!

Very helpful
Easy to clip onto my glasses and a huge help with my crafting projects. Sometimes I just need a bit more magnification and these clip-ons are perfect.

No pouch provided! Not as advertised!
I have had a pair for many years and bought this as a second pairas the first have developed some scratches afer so many years of use. Very disappointed they did not come with the pouch as advertised in the photos. They are fairly delicate with soft plastic lenses so the pouch is important to protect them. Be advised you will NOT get the pouch shown with the pictures, just the lenses.

So Much Easier For Cross Stitch!
I do a lot of smaller cross stitch (18 count cloth typically) and the strain on my peepers can get intense. I've previously tried one of those magnifying glasses with a light and a cord that goes around your neck. I had a few issues with that: if I slightly moved, it would get off balance and flop around; the light was the perfect angle to blind my husband if he looked at me while he was sitting; if I looked up from the glass, my eyes took quite a while to adjust; my neck was in a weird place with it on and I would end up with headaches/neck pain. It wasn't the perfect fit. I'm working on cross stitch for Christmas gifts and wanted to try again. I purchased this and so far, they work!. The glasses I have on in the pics are the largest ones I have and these cover the entire lens. They flip up easily and, the best part: my eyes adjust instantly from short to long distance! I don't know much about the science/anatomy of this whole thing, I just know that I don't have to wait 5-10 minutes for my eyes to stop being googly from the other magnifying lens thing. They are also easy on and off and overall, so so so much better than the other thing I tried. One caveat: I am nearsighted (meaning my close-up sight is good, but medium and long distances are blurry) and these work great for close up work. However, they completely cancel out my glasses prescription for anything further away than about 8 inches from my face. This makes my cross stitch perfect, but my pattern that's about a foot away from me hard to see. I expected them to be better for a bit longer distance, but it's not a deal breaker. I'm not sure if a different strength in these would be better or not. Some people said these are heavy. I haven't experienced that. I have two pairs of very lightweight glasses and two (the ones in the pics being one) heavier ones. I used these with one of the lightweight pairs for about 3 hours last night with no issues at all. I'm guessing that the people with this problem could need their glasses adjusted to fit better even without this product. Yes, you are Dork Patrol with these on. It's fine. Your project will be so impressive when you're done that it doesn't matter. Overall, I'm really happy with these. I love that they're hands-free once they're on and easy to flip up to do other stuff. I'm glad I tried this type of magnification and my cross stitch projects are too!

Closer look
With your glasses and these magi clips you are all set. Great magnifying and as they do not distort your view on the upper vision/long range vision of your glasses, you can do handwork and watch tv at the same time!

great idea, poor implementation
Almost everything is good about the clip on magnifier, except the clip. You will need a very thick brim for this clip to stay on.
