Lots of storage in a small space, but you pay for it in convenience

After carrying a traditional bi-fold leather wallet for years and years, I began to notice that most of my co-workers had abandoned such devices in favor of money clips or money clip wallets. Also, my chiropractor repeatedly told me that wearing my overstuffed wallet in my back pants pocket was bad for my health. Willing to try something new, I ordered this. First off, it's well constructed and contains a powerful magnet in the money clip portion. Second, you should know that this wallet will not contain everything you can put inside a bi-fold wallet. I had to dump all business cards and store-specific rewards / membership cards to another method of storage. This wallet only contains my most often used credit cards (as well as my magnetic proxy card that gets me into my workplace) and it is quite full. I have to say I was a little disappointed at how little I could actually store in this wallet. That being said, I am often finding myself searching for a specific card, and when I find it (often by looking at the very edge of the card itself as the wallet is quite tight when you fill it) I find it quite difficult to wedge a finger in there in just the right spot in order to fish the appropriate card out. This is often embarrassing when standing in a busy checkout line and is even quite annoying when standing at a gas pump trying to find the credit card that you only use for fuel purchases because of its lucrative rewards program. In short, I like what this product represents in that it offers freedom from the traditional "pain in the a**" wallet however it is by no means a perfect or ideal solution. I would probably switch back to a traditional wallet because: 1: at a glance I can physically SEE which card I'm about to reach for as opposed to having to guess 2: I can easily remove any card from a traditional wallet as opposed to having to go fishing for a card with one finger from this small, tight space 3: a traditional bi-fold wallet will more securely hold cash. (Even though this product features a powerful magnet money-clip, at one point I ended up dropping a bit of cash out of the clip and onto the floor without noticing. Fortunately this occurred at work in front of my locker and I quickly looked back and realized "hey! there's money on the floor!...... hey!... that's MY money!!" Had this happened anywhere else I may not have realized the error so quickly.

Small, strong n sturdy

I'm always the person that buys a wallet and then cuts most of it off so that it's slim and comfortable. This was generally larger than what I normally try to carry but after having it in my pocket for a few days, I don't really want anything else.. the magnetic clip on the outside is usually something I cut off and throw away but it holds my pocket knife perfectly so I can always find it

Great skinny wallet/money clip combo

I bought this wallet with money clip to replace a worn-out leather model which had a metal clip. I've owned this for about a month so far, and so far I'm very impressed. The nylon material looks as good to my eye as any leather, and the construction does seem to be very sturdy. No problems with the seams or stitching. The wallet is very slim as described, although obviously the final slimness will depend on how much you load it up (mine is perhaps "slim" but not skinny anymore, as I've filled it with nine assorted cards/ID's, etc). The ID window is nice and wide, with an oval opening allowing you to thumb your ID out as needed. The card pockets are slightly offset (or stacked), allowing easier access to multiple cards. *** UPDATE *** I've now been using this wallet daily for over a year, and impressively, it continues to hold up. No problems with stitching or other wear. The pockets do eventually stretch a little if you stuff it full of cards, as I do, but that's to be expected. Very nice product, I'd buy again. I find the magnetic money clip strong enough to carry 5-10 folded bills with no problem. I probably wouldn't do more than 10, as the hold isn't as strong after that. I've had no problems with the magnetic strips on any of my credit or debit cards in proximity to the magnet. Overall, I strongly recommend this product.

Not the prettiest thing in the world, but extremely functional

I got this to replace a leather magnetic money clip that I'd had for several years, and the seams had begun to burst because I had overstuffed the thing. This money clip has a lot more room for cards than any other I have seen. The man-made material it's made of isn't the most attractive stuff in the world, but I bought this so I could carry what I need in a small package, not impress people. Like some others, I did rip the threads holding on the Big Skinny medallion and got rid of that. The magnet is very strong. It can hold a wad of 25 bills, folded in half, with the folded edge away from the clip. It doesn't hold them like a vise, but it does hold them. The magnet does not seem to have any effect on the magnetic strip on the cards. I have 14 cards and a couple of slips of paper in it as well. It's stuffed, and I have to work to gets some of the cards out, but the ones I use regularly are arranged so that I can get to them easily enough.

Nice product, but material too slippery...

I was looking for a wallet (with 2 pockets in this direction and the ID window) for my cards since I don’t carry a purse. First thing I do with these is remove the magnet. That was pretty easy. This product has 4 pockets and it works ok. I have about 14 cards in it (IDs, credit, and other). It’s a bit too slippery for my taste, so I may do something to fix that. Hard to get cards out without wetting fingers. Leather is best for me, but I can’t find the one I bought more than 5 years ago. The pain with leather is I had to stretch it out gradually...and they wear out. This one should last longer.

Very unique

The magnet for the money clip is very strong, I can fit 200 in 20s in there no problem. The card slots are great. It's a very good money and card holder

Durable y práctica

Muy durable y práctica, realmente no estorba en la bolsa del pantalón. Buena opción para quienes gustan practicidad, y no glamour. Si compraría otra en otro color.
