Tacticool but Practical and simple design
Will be ordering more but won’t see how it could replace my Secrid card protector, I was tired of finding “wallets” like the Dango, Muradin, Ridge among many others that prioritizes cards, when these days contactless payments is the norm. We still need wallets for coins and cash (paper money) and there’s not many options out there except the Belroys but they seem to be more for a posh market. Magpul is for people like us that look for 5.11 gear first but don’t want to scream for attention that we’re carrying. I will be ordering replacement Magpul DAKA products and hope they continue to expand on their EDC/travel concepts, I still use a Lewis and Clark Stash Wallet for coins.

Thinner Wallet with RFID Blocking
Alright, so I’m one of those guys that carries a big wallet with too much stuff. My jeans tend to have that rectangular fading on my front pocket. My last wallet was on its last legs and I decided to try this out. It definitely doesn’t hold as much but it’s a good balance. I can still carry cash, yes cash, remember that paper we used to use. Recently on a trip to Mexico, our cards were not working, and guess who saved the day with cash…that’s right! It saved our vacation that day. I think it looks tacticool and I can keep a lot of stuff in it. It’s practical for keeping receipts and it’s half as big as my last wallet. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and it’s loosened up a bit but some of those cards are still hard to get out. It does have 2 spots for the cards that you use the most and those are easy to get out. Will it last as long as my last wallet, well we will have to see but it definitely costs a lot less and you get RFID protection.

Love this wallet! Never going back.
Thin, light, extremely tough, I have zero complaints with the design, durability or price. My only complaint isn't a fault of the wallet at all, I wanted something slim and light to replace a bulky leather wallet. For the first few months I kept panicking because I didn't feel it while walking or sitting and I was constantly thinking I forgot my wallet. Now I have adjusted to it and can sit on it for long car rides without back pain and I don't have the "forgot wallet" feeling bothering me.

Great product, even better support
The build quality is excellent. I had one for two years and it looked brand new the entire time. Very sturdy and it nice, as well as extremely slim. I bought this item some years back, and I had no problems until it was stolen over the holidays. The replacement I got had some fraying at the edges, which my first wallet did not experience. When I called customer service about it, it was the most no-hassle experience ever. They got some info, and then said they are sending me a replacement. Prompt and understanding. It was the shortest and best experience with a customer service issue of my life. I was bummed that the replacement's lining was fraying, but given the customer service experience, and the prior wallet's superb performance, this product is 5/5 stars. It's worth your money, I promise.

Great wallet!
This has been my edc wallet for about a year and a half. It's been wet. It's been through the washer, thrown in the console of my truck, left in the truck in hot weather and cold. It still looks like it did the day I got it. I don't see any signs of the layers separating or stretching. No fading of the color. I don't know what else I could ask from a wallet.

Three month review - pretty good so far, would order again.
I got this on the recommendation of the EDC community. The material feels kind of rubbery, but nice. Slips into my pocket smoothly and I love it as a slim wallet. It is definitely not for anyone looking to carry more than 3-4 paper bills at a time, but that is fine for me as I almost exclusively do not carry cash. The only odd thing about it is that it's constantly spouting fibers from the side. When I opened the package it had some already. I trimmed them down with a razor but they keep coming back. It's not a game breaking problem - but just a little strange. If they weren't there when I opened the package I would have thought they were from my pocket but they are in fact coming from the wallet.

Does not fit to UAH or EUR bills
Does not fit to UAH or EUR bills. Normally closes only with 5-6 bills inside.

As advertised but,
Great wallet as far as I can tell but I definitely ordered the gray one and I got a black one. Not really a big enough deal to go through sending it back and not having a wallet for the meantime so I guess I’ll keep it.

Exactly what you'd expect
There is really not much to say about this wallet, but I will try. This is both good and bad. Good, because there are no negative surprises, bad, because it doesn't impress, beyond delivering on what it promises. Ok, so that's not really bad, is it. Outside, the surface is soft and finely patterned for a good grip. Won't be slipping out of your pocket on its own. The entire wallet does not have any structure to it or a spine, it's just kinda floppy, and the fold is not well articulated, so if you don't keep tons of stuff in it to make use of the generous space inside, I assume (hope) it will flatten a bit over time. The Magpul logo is stamped in the corner. Inside, there is a cash/bill pocket (there's no money clip), and 4 slots for cards, two on either side. The top one is sized just large enough to take a credit card, you CAN slip in a second one in there, but you're beginning to stretch the opening. I don't know how resistant to stretching and tearing this material is, so I would avoid overstuffing this. Both slots share the same space inside, cards will rub on each other, something to keep in mind. The bottom slot opening runs the length of the wallet, so it can accept much wider cards, and also you can stuff it more. It is easy enough to slip a card into this opening, but it gets much easier if there is already a card in the top slot. The cash pocket is not very tall, it works well for US and Canadian currency, I have about 3mm left when I put in some Canadian money (which is slightly taller than US bills). Measure your country's currency first before buying. I can already see that Euro bills, which are variable size, START at the size of Canadian bills, and go up from there, so that's going to be an issue. Many Asian currencies are also out of luck. Probably not a wallet for travel, due to issues fitting local currency bills, but so far it does everything I need for my daily life.

Discreet, durable, slightly inflexible
My previous wallet was a EDC-style trifold via Kickstarter that had one semi-enclosed pocket for storing bills. The elastic band that was supposed to wrap around the flaps in the closed position had become loose after 2-3 years of use, so I started looking for a new wallet. Ultimately settled onto the DAKA bifold as I've already had leather bifolds and was not interested at all re: "minimalist" wallets. Compared to traditional wallets, the material on the DAKA is relatively rigid, so it's not possible to go George Costanza stuffing all your IDs, plastic, loyalty and bits of paper in them. Having 10-20 bills in the main back pocket is doable with some difficulty. Any more than that, and I still need a full size wallet or passport case. Having used it for the past 11 months, I liked it a lot. It doesn't attract attention. It doesn't get stuck in pockets. It still held up like new. Recommended — as long as you can live with its limited capacity.

Durable, slim, nice looking.
This wallet feels good in the hand. It closes easily, and seems like it'll last a long time with daily use. It's a tiny bit hard to get ~10 cards in the thing, but I suspect the material might soften up a little over time. Nice bill-pouch in the middle. As with many wallets, a thicc stack of bills will make this hard to close. If you like rolling deep with cash (like, 25+ bills at a time), this might not be for you. Overall, happy I got it.

Minimalismo y calidad

My new EDC - Every Day Carry
I have used a lot of wallets, from high tech, to old school, to minimalist, to bulky carry everything. This wallet is my new favourite. It is not flimsy or weak, the material is thin, but strong so far. Does not give any indication that it will break or tear so far. Get this is you have 8 or less cards. 2 cards in each slot still keeps this wallet really thin, and adding 1-6 notes makes little difference. The wallet material does have a good grip, but not so bad that it sticks getting it in or out of my front or back pockets. That said if you wear really tight pants then it might be more of a struggle. But I like it because at least you don't get the impression that it can easily slide out of your pants.
