The intended purpose for this item is as a key clip but I bought it for a different purpose. I had seen a jacket gripper advertized on a travel website. I looked into it because I have draped sweaters over my purse or day bag only to have them slip off and get dirty or worse, lost. The official jacket gripper was over $30! That is way more than it is worth! I saw a recommendation to try this type product instead. For all the cost difference (you can buy 6 of these for the price of one of the official grippers) the products look amazingly similar. After it arrived I got my purse and got a sweater from the closet. The nylon strap part come open and I wrapped it around my sweater. It fits snugly so the sweater wouldn't slip out easily but its not so tight that it puts bad wrinkles in the material. I hooked the j clip on one of the rings at the corner where the strap meets the body of the purse. I don't like the sweater hangs that way, but when I slide it around so the jacket can be draped over the body of the purse it is perfect. It is just like what I have been doing but now I won't have to worry about it slipping. Problem solved! I'm glad the other poster was thinking outside the box and decided to share their idea!

Easy to use - but sometimes i find it unscrewed in my pocket - so tight it up and enjoy

A Poor Choice

I got this because I wanted a key ring that was both small and easy to get keys on and off. The problem is that it's WAY too easy to do the latter. Within two weeks the clasp had already come unscrewed in my pocket several times. Each time keys fell off. Lame.

Cheap and cheaply made.

This "Lucky Line 737 Oval Key Ring" sucks. Can't be any clearer than that. Third day of use, threads stripped and rendered it useless. Inly reason it recieved one star is because they don't give the option for ZERO. Really, it sucked!

Love this item. I have used it to hang on either my purse or pocket to hold a hat or jacket. Great for travel!
