Easy to use

Have seen system like this for years, and have bought a few that never worked as promised so I had my doubts. It took just seconds to put together and I must say I'm impressed with the quality and thickness of the container. Right away I tried it on a rototiller oil fill tube. Once inserted it took 3-4 pumps and miraculously oil started being drawn out. In no time I heard it sucking air and after measuring the collected oil I found that it had drawn out probably 99% of the oil. This thing works!

It works!!!

I was a little skeptical about this little guy. The price seemed high so I looked at other brands and they were pricey also. So…I went with a brand that I trust. Price is the only reason for 4 Stars instead of 5. Changed the oil in my mower in minutes with zero spills. That’s a first…now maybe I’ll change my mower oil like I’m supposed to…because it’s a job I really put off bc of the mess. However, the real reason I bought this is to change the oil in our whole house generator…a Generac 22kw. It costs me $260 to have that serviced and I can buy the kit off Amazon for $60. Maybe I should add that one star back? The cost to build this thing can’t be more than $10. But it is well designed.

Simple, easy to use, and efficient!

When I took it out of the box, I didn't think it would work as it was so simple and has little assembly. But, I used it to take gas out of a snowblower and it worked like a charm! Faster than expected and easy to empty,too.

Suction device, not vacuum pump.

This B&S vacuum pump is great for evacuating hydraulic fluid from a power steering pump, brake cylinder, and so on. I was able to suck clean power steering oil through the PS system in a Cadillac. I had trouble with using it to bleed brake lines. For what it was designed to do it works very well. I hope it lasts a long time.

Great for changing oil in riding mower

Extremely easy to use, less than 10 minutes to change oil in riding mower. The instructions are clear and concise, but you probably don't need them. Screw the siphon on top, then insert and screw on the clear oil tube. Push the tube into the oil filler of mower and pump the siphon a few times. Standby and wait for it to suction the oil. I have used other siphon devices and they were all inefficient and messy. Love that the oil is contained and cannot spill. Did not spill one drop of oil.

Works as advertised

This is a great vacuum pump/extractor. I bought this so that I can change oils in my tractors and mowers. I ran up the engines for a few minutes to get the dirty oil warms and dirt in suspension in the oil, then inserted the clear tube down the dipstick hole/tube, pumped up the vacuum pump and the warm oil was drawn out very quickly. Great product.

very good product :)

This is a great procuct for my garden machinery use. i have only used it the once and its sold of construction. Very easy to assemble and even easier to use. I can see this product is going to get years of use if i look after it. Gets a 5 star rating from me. Very happy with my purchase :)

Great oil removal tool!

Used this to remove oil from my Yamaha jet boat motors. I have read that some people found it slow to pull the oil out. I poured gas stabilizer in my tank and filled it at the marina, thenIt went on a 10 minute ride. I had the boat on plane and worked it up to full throttle when warmed up. Went to the dock and vacuumed the oil out in a blink, it only took a few minutes per engine. The outside temp was in the upper 60's and even so, the oil flowed out smooth and quick and don't forget...neat! No mess, easy to use, with the translucent material you could see the level easily in the jug and it was very easy to tell when you had gotten to the bottom of the oil sump. When I started sucking air...i pumped the handle some more and moved the draw tube around to try to get every last drop. Easy to use, compact, simple design that if cared for, should last for years. If you are thinking about this or electric pump...just buy this, save our money and start doing your snow blower,gas mower oil changes with ease.

Works well for coolant

It's a great setup for coolant. I have a couple for different fluids. Don't leave the pump on it and clean it up if you're using it with gas. The vapour hardens the umbrella seal in the pump and makes It useless. Also if used for brake fluid it will eat the plastic tank if left in it without cleaning for more than a day or so

Works well

Used it to drain my lawn mower oil, it did the job. Small and compact so doesn't take too much room when storing. Easy to use, and i am happy it came with a funnel.
