Overall a good pump
I like this pump for its ability to brew organic tea for my plants. I find that it moves a lot of air if I use two large stones in a 1-2 gallon container. The fittings are very snug and keep the lines in place firmly, which is a real problem for many pumps. My one complaint is that it makes a terrible noise on high. If I keep it at around 80% max, I hear almost nothing. And I don’t notice much of a bubbling difference between max high, and just below max.

The only thing I don't like about this air pump is that it is LOUD
I bought this for my 10 gallon nano marine dwarf seahorse tank. I figured having 2 outlets would make it easier to have one go to the tank, and one for the brine shrimp hatchery. Keeps the tubing a little more neat, so +1 on that feature. This thing is POWERFUL. It is so much more air pump than my tank needs, but with the control knob, you can turn it down so far that it almost doesnt push through any air at all! It's also big, which makes sense because it has to have two bellows to supply air to 2 nozzles. For what it is, it's quite compact, but from the picture, i thought it would have been about half the size. The only thing I don't like about this air pump is that it is LOUD. Loud enough to merit only 4 stars for that reason alone. (At least in the way I'm using it, other comparable pumps may be just as loud if not more) There are a few ways to quiet it down, however. Turning down the airflow quiets it down significantly. I also found that only using one of the outlets will create a lot of extra noise. Just get another air stone and connect it and youre good to go.

Works fine
I use this for drying tubing and hoses for brewing and hydration (e.g. CamelBak tubing). When I set it on high and route both outlets through the tubing using a tee fitting, it can dry about three feet of 3/8" silicone tubing in roughly an hour, depending on humidity and temperature. You can use it to dry bottles and bladders as well. It is not very loud, but I would in no way describe it as silent. On the high setting, I can hear it from a room or two away, although it would not significantly interfere with a conversation a few feet away. It would be annoying to me to sleep with it in the same room on the high setting. I might tolerate it on the low setting.

Quiet and compact
I purchased aTetra 77850 Whisper Air Pump, upto 100-Gallon last December. That pump was always a bit loud but it grew to be an annoyance. Our tank is located in our living room and I got fed up with having to turn the TV volume up to drown out the pump. I purchased thisEcoPlus 2 Air Pump, 2 Outlets last week and I could not be more pleased. It is decibels quieter and is actually more powerful. I have one 18" submersed bubble bar and one treasure chest in my 20 gallon tank. The lines are run to a gang valve and then a line runs to the pump. This pump is capable of supplying both the bar and chest with the proper amount of flow on the lowest setting. My old Tetra pump had no flow setting control - I considered this and its noise its two downfalls for me and my setup. I really like the setting control knob on the top of the pump, although I do not see myself needing to turn it up from the lowest setting since with my current setup turning the knob any higher causes my treasure chest to darn near float. LOL! This pump is certainly a very nice device that I foresee lasting me quite some time. When it does come time for a replacement, I will not hesitate to purchase another EcoPlus.

Good outdoor air pump for our small pond.
The solar air pump that I bought for our small outdoor pond died in less than a year. Perhaps it wasn't designed for continuous use. This one seems must more reliable but must be plugged in. Another plus is the dial on top that allows you to adjust the volume of air flow. I'm keeping it (and the old one) under cover so the motor doesn't get wet.

noisier than I had hoped - I found a fix
Bought this to replace one failed pump and one very noisy pump. It was slightly quieter than the noisy pump it was replacing, on the lowest setting. I bought some airflow reducing valves to attempt to quiet it further based on some other reviews, they did also help a little. A bubble wand with finer holes than the old bubblestones also seemed to help keep the noise down (a little). However, after a couple months it seemed like the noise was getting worse. I found that the only way to reduce the sound was to pick up the unit and apply pressure between the top and bottom by squeezing. This reduced the noise it by about 80%. I tried tightening the screws, no go. The solution - I wrapped a plumbing band clamp (the metal type with the screw to tighten it) around the pump just behind the adjustor knob, and put a dome shaped rubber washer between the band and the underside of the pump (this helped really push up on the underside without the camp cutting into the plastic). This worked like a charm, the pump is nice and quiet now. It makes less noise on full power now than it did at the lowest setting before.

Relatively quiet for the air volume
I gave this 4 stars only because I can hear it. However, it's much better than the great majority of air pumps we've tried for our 125 gal freshwater tank. We use it only for aeration; a Fluval cannister filter does the water filtration. We will try different air stones with it, since the smaller stones tend to be much noisier (and the restricted airflow can burden the pump, raising the noise level). The air flow adjustment is very nice. I ended up drilling a 1/4" hole in the floor next to the tank and running a length of air tubing below the floor. Now the pump sits in my basement workroom on a shelf and cannot be heard from the living room. The noise when it was in the living room was acceptable, but why have any pump noise at all if you can avoid it? I'd recommend this pump to a friend. It's well made and has a nice, long power cord.

It is o/k
For the price, it is not a bad product. I am happy with the air pump does work well but is not outstanding. I would recommend it to a friend.
