Fabric is uniform type, not smooth cotton

I asked a question about whether or not this fabric was uniform texture or smooth and soft. Every answer was smooth and soft. It is not. This shirt fabric is uniform texture. It is softer than the rough cheaper school uniform polo shirts that kids wear, but it isn't smooth and soft like without texture. I hate that uniform texture. I was hoping for a better quality blouse. Ralph Lauren and Eddie Bauer make better polo shirts -- soft and smooth to the touch. That's what I'm looking for -- that kind of quality, but I don't know if I'll find here. The color was nice and fit was ok, I ordered a large in pink and a medium i blue to see which fit I liked best. The large fit fine, but the medium was better. However, I had to return them both. The medium wasn't new. It was WORN and WRINKLED and carelessly packaged in a plastic bag not brand labeled like the pink one. The Large pink was brand new, nicely folded and sealed in the branded bag it was meant to be in. It was buttoned up, and tagged. The medium in blue, like I said was all wrinkled, like someone balled it up wet and could care less about it. The buttons were opened, and there was no tag. The shirt was OBVIOULSY WORN even though when you "try before you buy" you're SUPPOSED TO BE GETTING BRAND NEW ITEMS. Who's going to pay FULL PRICE for USED merchandise? I'm returning them both because of the texture and fit of the large pink and careless packaging and POOR CONDITION of the medium blue.

NICE SHIRT BUT TOO LONG

I bought this shirt on Thursday night for a Friday delivery to be worn at a Saturday golf tournament! Great service. I like this shirt BUT why do they make shirts SO LONG these days? Take off about 3"-4" and it would be great! It's not just this brand, it's all of them!

Wonderful

I've always loved Nautica products, but this one is the best! I disagree with one of the reviewers who said it is not smooth, it certainly is. Very comfortable and flattering. I purchased the navy and will get the black one as well. It does run on the small side, since I ordered a Large, when normally I am a Medium. Love, love, love this one!!

Really like Nautical polo shirts, bought one, loved the material so much, purchased another. Based on previous reviews, I bought a sized up and really happy with the fit. They wash really well and don’t lose their shape (air dry)

Good product in poor packaging.

The garment is made of good cotton and fits well. The package was disgusting- wrapped in a clear wrinkled plastic bag and thrown on the entrance floor.

Happy with purchase

The sizing tends to be on the small side so I had to exchange original for a larger size. Fabric is on the thin side but feels good and washed well in the gentle cycle. Love the colour.

96% cotton and 4% elastane

I have not worn these shirts yet (bought 3) for golf so I don't know if the elastane will compromise the breathability of the shirt. I swear by 100% natural fibres as being the coolest in sticky summer heat, and a loose fit. These shirts are beautifully crafted with finishings along neckline and sleeve hem which should keep their shape. They are shaped to fit the body so not a loose fit. The fabric has the feel of a pima cotton. The colors are bright. Will update once I have laundered one.

Lightweight and nice material.

Love these Nautical polo shirts, bought one, loved the material so much, purchased another. I found that one size larger was a better fit for myself...the shoulder width fit better on the larger. Love them and they wash really well and don’t lose their shape
