Works and much cheaper than OEM

Works fine and durable at a fraction of the price for OEM. Perhaps not same quality but can buy several for the cost. I’m happy with them and have switched over from OEM

Almost identical to the original PPM35SC filter than came with my Marquis Spirit Spa. I was happy to see that the threads were as long on these as they were on my original. I noticed on other reviews for comparable products (different brand) some people complained the threads weren't long enough and it created problems. The threads are perfect which is good, since the top doesn't have as wide a plastic top as my original so if it didn't screw down extremely well, the jets would start wiggling it back and forth. Can't speak for every Spa, but this works well with the Marquis Spirit as a replacement and if the filter does start to wobble a little with the 3/8" gap around the circumference at the top, I'll make a plastic wedge to secure it like the old filter had (which may have been exclusively made for the Spirit model).

Came with suprise!

This is the second filter I've purchased. First one is still working like a champ, I just wanted a backup for when it's needed. I would have given 5 stars, but this one came shrink wrapped with someone's long black hair. No extra charge?

Fits perfectly

First water change on my Marquis Spirit and needed to replace main filter. The previously close dealer moved 30 mi away so didn't feel like the schlep so reviewed replacement selection on Amazon. Ordered and received next day - thanks Amazon! :) - filter fit like OEM. Only deducted 1 star because it hasn't been thru a cleaning yet.

Perfect filter replacement

This is the second year I've replaced my filter since I've had a spa. I drain my spa and completely clean it and replace my filter in preparation for another season. The Pleatco is a filter that works extremely well and will continue to use it whenever a replacement is needed. I contacted Cal Spas and they recommended using the Pleatco for my spa.

These threads did NOT fit my Marquis hot tub

The threads seemed to be slightly bigger than the threads on the filter I was replacing. They did not fit!
