I'm a lifelong playtex bra girl

Not sure if I've changed or if the way the bra is put together has, but the last 4 Playtex bras have given me what I call 'bubble boob.' When the upper part of the boob 'bubbles' over the upper part of the bra. This is happening even after going to a store, explaining the problem, and being fitted to make sure I'm in the right size. Even after going up from a ddd to an h cup size and trying a different style. I am not writing a bad review - Playtex bras have been my go to for most of my bra-wearing life. Lately (about the past 2 1/2 years) they just aren't working for me.

Quality and time matter

This specific bra is the one that works best for me but finding it in my size in a store is very time consuming and frequently impossible so I started ordering online. I’ve been very happy until the last order I sent….. what they sent me was NOT what I ordered but because I was leaving on vacation in two days I did not have time to return it. I was very disappointed that it was the wrong one . The one I have set as my choice has 4 hook and eye closure, wide straps and extra wide all the way around. I got something with narrow straps and 2 hook/eye closure

Fit

My favorite bra for over 60 years. Yes, through the years I have tried I think about all brands of bras and I keep coming back to this wonderful Playtex 18 hour and yes as I fluctuating weight I have several different sizes I have always come back to the Playtex in fact the last time I tried on very expensive $80 brasAnd they looked horrible on me I put on my play text back on and ask the sales lady how can you beat this and she just looked at me and smile I love them

Stiff

With this brand and style of bra, they are very stiff. I have to wash them at least three times so the material can soften up a bit before I wear them. I think they are okay. I'm still getting used to these. They seem to run a bit small. Cup size is okay.

great price

This is the bra I always buy. I am a 44dd. It fits comfortably and has the support I need. The price is very reasonable as well. I found this exact bra at well known clothing store for $39 with a bogo half price deal which would have been $60 for 2. I paid $30 for 2. Much better deal.

I discovered that the front closure bras won't fit me with same size as back closures.

This Is The Only Bra I Will Wear!

I hope they never stop making these, because these are the only bras I will wear. Forget the Victoria’s Secret bras with their skinny little straps! I lost a tremendous amount of weight after surgery and even though I’m not very big I need lots of support and coverage and this bra provides it. Highly recommend!

Great for an authentic mid-century silhouette!

This one is for my vintage ladies! This is my go-to everyday vintage style bra - it's comfortable, durable, reasonably cute, available in many colours, supportive, easy to put on, from a respected brand, and a good price! This will give you a perky, relatively pointy, sweater girl look. DON'T BUY IT IF THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU WANT! It's not quite a true bullet bra but it's much closer to that look than a modern sculpted or push up bra. It lifts and separates, no cleavage here! You may find a pair of bullet bra pads (make your own or buy from What Katie Did) will help if you can't quite fill out the cups but they are not necessary especially if you want a softer, not quite so pointy look.

Playtex Bra

I have been buying Playtex bras for years. Lately, the sizes are being made very small. This bra, although it states a size larger, it is actually the same size as I regularly buy.

Really great fit.

The cup shape reminds me of bras from the 50's. It gives a very lifted appearance. I really like the look of it. Very comfy. The only thing is the neckline is kind of high up. You could not wear this bra underneath a v neck shirt. Overall, a great buy!

Bra Provides Excellent Lift, But a Little Uncomfortable

I really wish I could give this Playtex bra 5 stars, because it provides superior lift for a wireless bra, and I like the satin finish of it. However, the only issue is that the straps are too short, making this bra unideal for people with low-set busts. It really does try to take your bust up to your chin, which is so not required. For this reason, the bra was a little uncomfortable. That being said, the cushiony straps are very soft and gentle on the shoulders; the extra padding really does help. The bra band is nice and sturdy, without rolling up or riding up or any of those issues. The main thing is that if one is looking for lots of support and lift from a wireless bra, this is really good for that, and if you have a high-set bust, it's good for that too. Not gonna hurt to try, the price is very affordable as well.
