Proper line placement

To the few reviews regarding problems or disappointment with the grommet/holes being on the lid, if you run your line on top of the spool and through the hole it will lay back into the lid when you open the box. It would be wise to tie a small loop know after the line is through the grommet to prevent it from falling back in when opening. By running the line to feed from under the spool and then through the grommet you are leaving no slack and when opening the lid it will pull more line out or pull out of grommet every time. Just some helpful advice to the few reviews that seemed to struggle with this concept. Plano makes good gear and this box is a decent fishing line box. Plano does make a slightly bigger box that does have the holes/grommets on the bottom instead of the lid.

This little box works out awesome for fishing line I have several different types i use braided and mono in different weight so this works well when respooling and leftovers. i would purchase this again.

Great spool box for multiple test leader lines

The line at the ends have gotten tangled with the inside handle. Be sure to properly line up the spools. It is perfect for creating leader lines with ease, no unraveling lines!

Tame Those Open Spools

Clear plastic, so you can keep an eye on the amount of line you have left on individual spools. Line spools through individual holes for easy use, line management. Takes up some space in the tackle bag, which might be of concern to some. Overall, a good, functional product.

Great but not best for dispensing line

Great storage box for my flourocarbon spools, can fit 6 spools comfortably. sometimes if the spool is a little fatter it does not fit in the slot that is there great but it isint a big deal. Not great for threading line through the gromets but i dont use it for that anyways. Overall keeps all my line together and works great!

Does what it says.

I was worried about the fit. It fits standard sized spools for FIreline. I am sure it will fit any standard sized spools. Not super durable, but it is sufficient.
