Perfect size

My 6 year old is obsessed with fishing. He has 4 large tackle boxes, but was in need of something small with a handle. This is perfect size to carry around.

Perfect for my needs. See my old one compared to my newly purchased new one.

I just purchased my second one of these as it's perfect for my needs. (See pictures of old & new. We live by a slough and I needed something small and handy to put my favorite lures and tackle in to walk down to the slough. I think I bought it 5-6 yrs. ago here locally but my husband thinks I've had it longer. It's held up but as you can see this year the plastic got brittle and broke on one of the latches and the others are cracked. I always kept it in the garage but this year I left it on a bench on our covered deck but there was times when the sun was on it so I think it made the plastic brittle or just age. It's perfect so if I have to replace it every 5-6 yrs. I'm okay with that for the price. It only took me once not latching it before turning it over so stuff spilled out. I won't do that again.

Perfect Size for a few Lures

This box is perfect for throwing some of your small to medium lures in. It's small enough to put in a back pack or carry alone if you are only taking a few lures.

Simplicity at a good Price.

Put the various items in and unless my Nephew sits on it - your stuff does not fall out. Enough space for a lot of items. Price is Fair.

Smaller tackle box with good latches and convenient handle

Nice little tackle box for the essentials when you don’t want to take all the equipment. I put all of the items we need for myself and my daughter to do a little crappie or bluegill fishing in this and we can pack light for a day of fun! It holds plenty of hooks, weights and bobbers without them spilling into other compartments when carrying. It stays closed until you want it open and the semi-transparent lid makes it way to identify what is inside before opening the wrong side.

Better than expected

I load it with species specific fishing tackle for day trips in a small boat or back-country camping so I don't have to lug around my whole tacklebox. Seems a bit flimsy, but I haven't had any issues with the lids popping open or tackle making its way from one compartment to another while closed. Outside dimensions are 11" (28cm) wide X 8-1/2" (22cm) long X 3" (7.5cm) thick. Individual compartments range from 3/4" to 1-1/4" deep. Works well for a varied mix of worms/sticks/tubes, hooks, spoons, spinners, jigs, poppers, hollow body frogs, etc...
