Does the job.

READ THIS TO SAVE MONEY
Okay so basically you want to know 2 things 1 does it work and 2 is it worth the money. The answer is yes and yes. Now for the people who want more details. There are a couple ways to deal with shark bits one is to use an adjustable wrench like the ones with the dial in the middle and you can adjust from side to side. This is if you dont have the actual shark bite little c clip remove. but i can tell you from doing plumbing for years those can be a pain and you dont want to be tugging and pulling on pipes connected with shark bites too much. Last thing you need is to turn 1 job into 2. The issue with this tool for most people is that you need to use your brain and adjust it so that one side is over the back hum of the shark bite and the other side press the compression coupling. There is another review about bolting a screw to make it permanently adjusted. That is non sense why do all that extra work when the tool is fine as is. That is like trying to reinvent the wheel. Any tool I need to spend another 30 minutes in the shop adjusting is not worth buying. This pulls it off quick and easy with less need for hulk strength. Just also keep in mind in my personal opinion its not good to be removing and reinstalling the same shark bit too many times. Each time you remove the shark bite it leaving grooves on the pipe i feel puts more wear and tear on the pipes and can cause leak in the future. So its a great diy product that makes things fast and simple but when you can i would recommend solding the pipes. But which plumber doesn't keep a couple shark bites handy now a days. Also always make sure you fully seat the shark bite fitting when putting it on not pushing it down all the way can cause leaks. also clean the pipe with a rag or paper towel to remove any debris. If the pipe has old lump of solder or anything that can prevent a smooth connection i would use another fitting. Anyhow back to the product now it feels strong and durable can be dropped or tosses in tool bag without worry. Finally its pretty cheap cost compared to time you waste trying the diy removal process or using that sharkbit c orange thing a ma gig they give you.

You better have good hand strength
It works and makes Sharkbite removal easy but you will certainly need strong grip

It works but takes some muscle.
At first I thought they sent the wrong size but then looking closer at it, one side is larger than the other which is correct. It does work, but you need a fair amount of hand strength and pull with other hand on the pipe at the same time.

When u can't get a wrench in
Nice and small to be able to get behind it if stub outs short and the stops right at the edge of wall

Does what it supposed to do, remove the SharkBite from the pipe. It is a bit difficult to use and by the time you get good at it, you are done. I have removed these in the past with the adjustable wrench method and this tool will make it easier and more controlled. Worth the money, but doesn't work without developing a bit of a skill!

Better than the orrange disconnect clips, but still not optimal.

Freat value
When working with PEX quick connectors these are just what the Doctor ordered...

Extremely handy
I love the SharkBite connectors but I always needed a third hand to disconnect them. I used my new Disconnect Tongs for the first time yesterday and was shocked by how well they worked. Couldn't be happier with this product. Well made and extremely handy.

Not enough hand pressure can be applied
Good product but takes too much strength in your hand to make the shark bite release from the 1/2 in pipe needs more tension in the hand grip

Better than expected.
Easier to use than the little circular separators. Good for tight spaces.

Does not work for me.
I have lots of Shatkbite brand pipe, fittings and cutting and deburring tools. Have zero of any other brand. Been using Sharkbite quick connect fittings for over a decade at our cottage on both copper and PEX, when I have small jobs. I have been a copper guy for 50 years and am good a sweating plumbing joints, but I now have a mixture of copper, PEX, barbed and quick fittings, and Sharkbite quick connect fittings work with almost anything. It is surprising that I find this tool all but unusable. I have returned to the little flat plastic release tool. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Others seem to.like it.

Build pretty good and way more effective than the plastic things
This tool is worth the money. You can apply way more force to sharkbite fittings than with those "plastic thingies" Its actually built a lot better than expected and not just a "throw away tool" for onevtime use
