Most comfortable fins ever… from day 1!

I have used these fins swimming laps several times per week for months. There was no ‘breaking in’ period or need to build tolerance. No hint of blisters ever. My feet slide in fairly easily and I can manage to put them on while standing in the pool on one foot. My feet aren’t thin, so I am not sure about the review that said they wouldn’t go on but I am suspecting this person needed a larger size. I bought the size recommended on the chart and they are perfect. The fins have held up well with no deterioration. I do not find them heavy at all. In the past, I have had to remove other fins for a few laps to let my feet rest but I wear these for my entire mile and forget that I have them on. I will cry if they ever quit making these because I never want to wear the old style fins again! I am going to buy a spare set, just in case!

Different

I have been using the finish floating fin for 10 years… I love that fin. However, I am submitting myself to a new swim coach for the winter. This fin was “required” for his program. The Finis floating fin feels very secure on my foot. This fin fits very differently-the heel cup feels keeper, and doesn’t “hug “my heel. I have only used it a couple of times; the program hasn’t started yet, so I don’t exactly know the intended purpose.

still testing but good

I bought them with fear that they would not work for me, but they have a true fit according to the table, I use Vaseline to prevent rubbing from irritating me but that is to make it faster to put on the flaps. They are tight, if you are not sure of your size, look for reference from several brands or someone who already has them, also check your size with several shoes at home. In practice they have helped me to be aware of my kicks, I have been improving in a short time of use.

Comfortable while doing the job

I use this product for lap swimming. They fit just right and do not chafe at either the toe or the heel.

Great fins!

I swam competitively, swam Masters, and still swim multiple times a week on my own. So I'm used to training with fins and it's always been difficult for me to find comfortable fins that don't press into my pinkies or cut into your ankles or tops of your toes, etc. It's also because I have a bit of wider feet too. Depending on the shoes, I wear a 2E wide as opposed to a 4E extra wide. I can get into most shoes, it just may be a little tight. I'm a huge fan of TYR products—I prefer them over the other brands, personally. I had an older pair of TYR fins made of rubber. They've served me well, but depending on how swelled up my feet from other activities like running, hiking, etc. the fins could be uncomfortable at times and cuts into the tops of my toes. When I saw that these were made of silicone, I was intrigued to try them out. Right out of the gate, I could tell that these were not going to dig into my feet in any way. There aren't really any sharp edges. Super easy to get on and off since they're made of silicone. Much lighter too than my old rubber fins of the same length. My only concern might be that I have wider fit and they fit nicely—not super tight or super loose. So it makes me wonder if someone had narrow feet, then these might be too loose and would have to wear socks with them. But for me, they work perfectly. I'm going to retire my old ones now!

Good quality short fin that's comfortable

After using long fins for years, I switched to these short fins to truly help my kick strength and effectiveness. I don't swim as fast with these fins as I did when I wore my long fins, but my leg strength has improved and my real-world no-fin kick is much more effective. I was surprised by how hard it is to kick with short fins. I go only little faster than when I'm not wearing any fins, and my legs burn like crazy from the effort, but that's exactly what I wanted. The fins fit me perfectly. I wear a 12.5US size shoe. The XXL size feels comfortable (after an initial break-in period). They rubbed on the back of my heal during the first swim. They still rubbed a little after the second swim. But by the third swim, I could barely feel them on my feet. I'm not sure how long they will last, but they feel well made.

Love them!!!

I swim laps 3 times a week and absolutely love these! They fit really well, no blisters. They are very sturdy and will last a long time. Perfect purchase!

Exactly as expected

Fit great for me (woman size 11.5) and are fantastic for open water swims to balance out effort of my arms. Able to walk around and get into water much better than with longer fins.

Quirky...But Superb

I have nothing bad to say about these. My feet are size 10 (45) and they fit perfectly and securely with no rubbing or slippage. Short stumpy blades that to a great job of giving you a good workout in the pool and making your kicking more efficient. Well made with no gaps in the material or harsh mould lines to cause irritation (the foot pockets are smooth and comfortable) and the non-slip soles when standing on the pool floor actually is pretty good. They are somewhat stiffer than latex rubber fins but that probably makes them more efficient at the sacrifice of a little bit of comfort but for those who want to train seriously or have a rubber allergy...I don't think you could do better. Only thing to note is that they are clear (slightly unusual...in a good way) and it will be interesting to see how long they stay like that before the chlorine in the pool begins to change that.

perfect fit

i ordered the size according to the chart and they are perfect. I do have slim feet though. There is even a rounded lip, so that the edge does not scratch my toes...very happy.
