Vibrant colors, definitely order at least a size up

As many other reviewers have said, this coat definitely runs small, but that was exactly what I needed. My 8 month daughter is off the charts for length and weight (29.5 inches and 23 lbs and yes she is only 8 months). We realized a few days ago that she had outgrown her winter coat and scrambled to get her a new one since we're in the middle of a cold NY winter. I was torn between this and a $50 4 in 1 coat. I purchased the other coat because I thought she would get more use of it, wearing the the inner fleece through the spring. She's stuck in between a 12 month and 18 month coat so we ordered the other coat in 18 month. It was ginormous on her so back to Amazon to get her yet another coat. Because so many reviews said this coat ran small, I ordered this coat also in 18 month and it is perfect. The colors are vibrant and it's very warm. She looks so cute in it and seems to be relieved to be out of her original coat which was too small. It's a tad big on her which means she'll be able to get through the rest of winter in it, but I can't imagine that this coat would fit most 18 month olds (would be too small). This coat is great and I wish I'd bought this one instead of the expensive coat which I couldn't return because I washed it before I realize how impractically big it was on her, but definitely order at least a size up, maybe 2 depending on the size and growth of your child.

Love this coat i got for my granddaughter which she is four years old and wears a size 5 to 6. I got this coat in a 5 -6 but when it got delivered to my house and i opened the package i tried it on my granddaughter right away, sadly it fits like a size 4 . Make sure if your in the U.S to go two sizes up on this one because i think even if i were to of got a 6x it would of still been a little snug.

Great jacket for the price

Great product for the value. Fits nice and looks nice. My daughter haven't used that much so I'm not sure how long it will last. I bought for a specific trip that we were planning and worked just fine. She's 8 isually wears 8-10 clothing, this jacket is 10-12 and is just right, I always buy these type of jackets a little bit bigger to last at least 2 winters but we will need to but another one next winter. Sizes are somewhat small.

Warm coat, small but for the price we can buy another next year.

I ordered a 4T four our big 2year old she fits a 3T so I wanted it a little big to last two years. It just fits. Nonetheless, she loved it, and it will be plenty warm for.our California winter. We have been feeling like we're freezing in the 39-40 degree weather. The softness of the material is wonderful. The price was unbelievable. Happy to keep our little one warm.

At least 3 sizes too small, but cute otherwise

This coat is adorable & it seems like it will keep my seven-year-old warm next winter & it's very cute however my daughter currently wears a size 8 in jackets and most of them fit slightly large. I bought this jacket in a size 14/16 for a year or 2 ahead and it fits her like a size 7/8 not even kidding! Very important to order several sized way way up!

Super cute but runs a bit small.

Super cute and warm coat! I thought a 7/8 would be a bit bigger. This is not much bigger than her 5/6 coat. This brand must run a bit small. I hoped she would be able to wear it for two winters but I think she will grow out of it before next winter. Next time I purchase this brand I will order a size bigger.

Cute! but runs very small

My daughter loves it. I ordered a size up already. She usually wears a 7/8. I ordered the 10/12. And it just fits her....She definitely won't be able to get in it next year..and even this year, I find it to fit "snug" instead of a little bigger like a jacket is supposed to fit..Good quality. Cute colors...Just order TWO sizes up!!

Warm and easy to donn

Overall, this coat is great. It is warm and easy to put on. The sleeves have lining that allows for easy donning. I wish I would have gone up a size though. My daughter has sensory issues and she really likes it/ doesn't have issues with it.
