MISSING THE LID! PLEASE MAKE SURE THE REPLACEMENT HAS THE LID!!!!!
I was really excited for this picnic basked but the lid wasn’t included. They need to make sure that whoever is assembling the products includes everything when it’s shipped out. I don’t want this happening again. Many people have made the same complaint

Great Look
The basket works well and looks great. The Velcro hinge came undone a couple times, but it’s very easy to recasted or permanently sew together.

***Updated review*** As I stated in my review, I love the basket so much that I planned to buy one for myself. Not only did I order one for my self, I ordered another one to give as a gift. Today is cyber Monday. I decided to purchase a 4th basket and send it as a gift. I paid $39.95 each for the 3 baskets I purchased. Today, the price is $94.28??!!! On cyber Monday?? The price more than doubled! I love the basket, but it is NOT worth $94.28. It is $94.28 on Amazon and on the manufacturer website. I'll be looking for another gift if the price is not reduced to $39.95. The picnic basket is beautiful, very roomy, and just as described. It was packed, nicely, too. No damage and nothing was missing. The basket is a gift for my daughter, but I like it so much that I am going to purchase one for myself.

When I first received my basket I was so excited until I found there wasn’t a liner for it! I needed the basket right way so I ended up having to order another one at a higher price. They could not just send me a liner??? I live in the country so it’s not easy for me to return right away. When my basket was received it was wrapped very carefully and packaged as accordingly. The other one was used I guess and not checked out to see if everything was in it. I’m leery about ordering anything that isn’t new. Other then the above problems this basket is awesome!!!

Second time is a charm
I was so excited to find this iconic picnic basket on Amazon. It arrived in a box that although it was large, was still too small for the basket and some of the woven willow was split from lack of protection in the box. I trimmed the split pieces back only to find that the stitching on the fabric skipped two areas allowing the elastic binding to come loose. In addition, the second tie for the lids was nowhere to be found and a portion of the basket weave was discolored. Given the lifetime guarantee, I e mailed the company but they directed me back to Amazon given that it was new. I was able to return it at my local Kohl’s for free and a new one arrived in 2 days. The second one was perfect except the box was again too small and some of the weave was again broken. I just glued that small part back together. It is a very nice item in the end but amazon could improve their packaging on this one.

It’s a beautiful basket but...
The basket it self is beautiful i love the look of it,is everything! It would make an excellent gift. Anyways it arrive broken. I didn’t send it back or anything because when I bought it, it said that the box was damaged and it was listed a little cheaper. The box wasn’t that damaged I don’t know how it will break in the middle like that. And one of the lids was damaged too. Now the good things. It seem pretty durable (i know that sounds contradictory) and the size is bigger than what i expected, but in this case the bigger the better. And the look of it is super cute.

Very Nice!
The basket just arrived and it’s been rainy so I haven’t used it yet, however it matches the description and pictures exactly and is a perfect size. Some say it might be too shallow for them, but I don’t drink so I won’t be trying to fit any wine bottles here, and I intend to just use this for light lunches and snacking while enjoying nature. The only complaint I have is that it’s a little hard to make the wooden flaps on top stay open without holding it open. Would be less of a hassle getting stuff in and out if that was easier. Other than that, I love it!

Came on time , in great shape, great quality, opens from both top lids, big enough to fit 8 small jars, napkins, 2 big food box containers filled with great snacks.. it was the centre piece of our picnic and the source of great goodies .. v. Joyful
