Works well, but sometimes does not drill its own hole
I used these to install new flooring in my camper. The new flooring is 3/4 inch pressure-treated plywood, so standard steel fasteners will not work. The camper frame is aluminum. Most of the screws I put in drilled their own hole with little trouble. In about 110 screws I had to drill the hole maybe 8 or 10 times. I did not break the head off of any screw, and the #2 phillips bit stayed in the slots. I did not strip out any of the slots. I did manage to shatter two bits, but they were not impact-rated so that is not a surprise.

putting on a deck of an aluminum trailer head striped or self taper part would break bought two packs and lost 8 with these issues good thing i had two pack still short on how many i needed was what i lost

Self tapping Stainless steel screws
These are excellent hardened Stainless steel screws. I used them to attach 3/4" exterior grade plywood to a 1-1/2" square tubing frame with 1/8" thick walls. I pre-drilled holes under sizes and used a battery powered nut to drill these screws home. These screws are harden. It is not easy to strip its #2 Phillips head. I actually broke the #2 Phillips head from my Milwaukee impact tool bit and the screw's Phillips head did not strip out. This is a great screw. I would buy these screws again to secure anything to metal.

Great product.
The best thing is that the screws fit completely flush when tightened down. I did not strip out the heads installing them. Very hard for Stainless steel.

self tapping
best self tapping screws I 've ever used. Went thru 3/4 marine plywood and 1/8 inch steel utility trailer frame and cross members with no problem!!

Great for wet location
These were perfect for attaching the pool steps to my aluminum deck. Unlike locally purchased screws claiming to be suitable for pool use that rusted badly these are truly stainless steel and holding up perfectly

very soft
The cutting edge will not cut through normal galvanized sheet metal. The tips simply round off. I had to predrill all hopes in order to use these fasteners. Threads are holding but due to the soft cutting edge I am suspicious that they will shear under load.

Real quality
Used for 3/4 double coated w deckover plywood to 12 gauge steel for offroad trailer build floor. Not a single one sheered when tightening (slowly w drill) and drill points are top notch!

Does not retain a hold on materials. Spins in place nicely if you like that kind of thing.
Should show real photo. It did not have staying power. I do not recommend.
