screw for the handle will not tighten up to hold the handle in place
love the facet. the only thing that keeps me from giving it a 5 star is the handle screw will not tighten up enough to hold the handle on.

Buggy motion sensor, not recommended.
Had this installed during a kitchen renovation about 6 months ago. At the time, chose this faucet based on good reviews on the motion sensor reliability, simplistic and modern overall design, and the faucet handle position. We needed a faucet where the handle position did not extend "behind" the actual faucet when adjusting temperature or flow, or else it'd bump into our back splash. This one stops at full vertical and just pulls forward, so that was perfect for us. The short summary is, if you're buying this for the motion sensor, don't. The location of the sensor is right in the front of the faucet. If you're just washing your hands or washing something deep in the sink, this is fine. However, if you are washing anything larger (e.g. a pot), the sensor will accidentally detect the object as you waving your hand to stop the flow. As such, oftentimes the water accidentally turns off when I'm in the middle of using it and I have to wave to turn it on again. Through time, this gets annoying. Also, in the beginning it responded immediately to inputs, but now it's gotten buggy. Sometimes it doesn't respond right away, or sometimes there's a ~2 second lag, which is just enough to make you doubt whether the sensor detected the motion and try to wave again, resulting in a repetitive cycle of on/offs. For some reason I also noticed lately the motion sensor does not work if the water is not at full blast (e.g. if it's turned to a lower stream). All in all, I would not recommend this faucet for the motion sensor functionality. I believe there is a way to disable the sensor and just use the faucet handle manually, which we'll be doing. However, that just defeats the purpose of getting a motion sensor model. I cannot comment on ease of installation, since our contractor installed it. However, please note that a special installation tool is required (which I purchased from a different website). Why the tool didn't come with the faucet itself is a bit odd, but after a short search on google I was able to find the right tool.

Motion detection fails over time
Very average product - motion detection fails or is slow to activate “off” after water is “on”, which wastes water and defeats the purpose of the device as water saving convenience

Works great but after 39 years of moving a handle
Works great but after 39 years of moving a handle, it is VERY hard to get used to. Like moving the location of your dishes in a cabinet and then going back to get a dish and they’re not there...HOWEVER, To install this faucet, the nut under the counter is very inaccessible, especially on a deep farm sink. They sell a tool that, for a $300.00 faucet, should be IN The box... I don’t even care if the price went up $20 to cover the tool’s retail cost. Imagine you get the thing home, make time to install and then can’t tighten the nut enough to keep it stable. So now, you have to send for the tool and then crawl back under the sink to re-do the job. This, at my age, has gotten to be a real PITA, and I’m not THAT OLD YET. So, the faucet slops around for a few more days, and then the process starts over again. Oh...and don’t forget you e gotta pull out all of the crap under the cabinet to squeeze back under there.....phew, I’m exhausted just rethinking about it. Hey PFISTER.... wake up

Works when it wants to
We purchased this faucet nearly a year ago for our kitchen remodel, and it worked flawlessly for about eight months. The motion sensor started working intermittently, and seems to be getting worse, to the point we are hardly using it. Our sensor is plugged in directly and does not use the battery pack that was also included, so batteries are not the issue. In most cases, when you wanted to use the sensor nothing would happen. In one instance, the faucet handle was on, which it has to be for the sensor to work, nobody was near the faucet and the water starts running. We are reaching out to Price Pfister for warranty options, but I think they still need to work on the sensor capabilities.

PFISTER Customer support is pretty QUICK to send you replacement parts
I think the package was missing the plug in adapter - I called the 1800 number- for PFISTER - they offered to send one from USA - as it's not avail in Canada. Glad to know it - I installed myself and all that - so more excited to get it finally up and running properly - What's missing are the flex hoses - you probably need to get these separately from the faucet whereas other faucets I've purchased usually have these in there. After using the faucet I have to agree with others who rated it so-so. - It is a bit too easy to wave and turn it off - unintentionally when you are using it to wash big things in one side and then transfer to the other side of your sink - it waves off. - It also has a clicking noise that I'm not fond of too each on and off - regardless if your tap is in an on position. I'm now aware that the tap must be at a on position that you can wave on and off from. The tap now controls your water pressure each time. If you want a full stream of water each time you wave it - you must leave it at full. I may be biased because I'm used to the MOEN wave sensor from Home Depot (for about $435 these days). THE sensor is on the left side of the base. That one has no clicking noise, does not need you turn faucet to on position in order to activate the wave-function. - BUT you cannot control the pressure. - i.e. each time you wave at it goes on full.

I thought it would be battery operated not electric
Used to replace older kitchen faucet. Kind of expensive Will see how well it holds up in 8 years or more
