This is mislabeled as a diverter stem. It is not a diverter stem

What I received even on the 2nd replacement is not a Pfister diverter stem. Is is mislabeled as a Pfister diverter stem, rather it is a Pfister hot and or cold water stem. Also the diverter stem has a wider thread, so what I received twice is a pfister hot cold water stem that has a smaller diameter thread so it will also not fit. I gave up trying to return for a second time, iI just kept it in my plumbing parts bin in my house. Went to big box store and got a real diverter stem from equivalent manufacturer. That fit perfectly. See my last image of how the end of a diverter stem should look like. You see that rectangular gap near the end, that is what the Pfister stem should look like for the Pfister diverter stem.

Works Fine

It fits my ancient Price-Pfister Verve shower diverter even though the part number doesn't match the number stamped on the old part. Screws right in and just works. 5 minute fix.

Works good - check length

Unfortunately I got one where the stem was too short. Used it anyway. Be sure to check shaft for length.

Works fine.

Works fine. Replacement was easy except getting the plastic threads for the cover off the old valve to put on the new valve. If a new plastic thread tube was included, it would make things easier.

Works nice and smooth

This item works and installs very well. An exact match for the old replacement that I couldn't be bothered repairing. I wish it were just a few bucks cheaper, but that's ok.

No stores in town had this part similar but not the exact part number installed valve and everything worked great very happy with my purchase
