Very elegant

These look very elegant on the dinner table during the Christmas season. They are a good size so don't need to be constantly refilled. We love them!

Beautiful

Absolutely beautiful. Will be perfect for a Christmas brunch. Unfortunately, one glass did arrive with a chip in the rim. The glasses were very well packaged for shipping. Each glass was individually wrapped in paper and bubble wrap, and separated by cardboard inside the box. The box was double wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a larger box.

Hand Painted Winterberry Goblets for Festive Holidays. Great Standalone or With Matching Dinnerware

This review is for the PFALTZGRAFF set of Winterberry Goblets (Set of 4, 14 Ounce). I received a free taxable sample of this set mug to review in my search for glasses I could use for entertaining during the holidays. The set arrived in a plain brown cardboard box which is okay if you plan on keeping the set for yourself; however, you will probably want to wrap the goblets in paper and inside a better box or gift bag if you plan on gifting this set. The goblets have a circular diameter of 2 3/4" at the base of the 1 1/4" high knobbed foot which then expands to a 3 3/4" outer diameter at the top of the glass. Height of the goblets is 6 1/8" and each one weighs 217 grams. The goblets are made of glass which has been etched and hand painted with the Winterberry pattern. A care sticker on the bottom specifies hand washing only, but overall, the glasses feel reasonably sturdy and I have been handwashing them with confidence and without fear of breakage. The overall craftmanship is good with the occasional micro bubble or tiny off-pattern etched spot adding to an almost handcrafted feel. The core look of these goblets is the Winterberry pattern with its etched branches and hand painted green holly leaves and red berries. The hand painted aspect of these goblets is fascinating as it gives each glass an almost unique look which is anchored by the Winterberry theme. For each glass there are three clusters of holly leaves that each have four green leaves and nine red berries. The knobbed red glass foot is a good complement to the rounded shape of the goblet and serves as a good base background color to the holly clusters. In terms of use, the goblets each comfortably hold 1 1/2 cups of liquid and are a good size to serve as a personal drinking cup for a festive occasion. There is a good weight and feel to these goblets with the size and rounded edge making them better suited for cold clear liquids such as water or sparkling cider. The design of these goblets speaks of festive holidays and are good standalone or matched with other Winterberry dinnerware pieces. All in all, this PFALTZGRAFF set of Winterberry goblets is nicely constructed and designed. I would recommend this as a nice option for gifting and/or entertaining friends during the festive season, especially with matching decor or dinnerware.

Very Delicate and Beautiful Goblets

For Christmas dinner, at the "grown-up" table, these are going to be SO pretty!! These are winter-themed goblets - very fine and delicate, clearly meant for special occasions. These are not goblets you would want your children to use - they are much too delicate. The glass is thin and the goblets are lightweight - this gives them that exclusive and luxurious feel - but they would be easily broken. You can't call them durable but then I don't think they're meant to be. They're meant to be light and delicate and precious treasures - and they perform well as such. I am not taking off any stars but sadly, one of the rims on one of the glasses I received was chipped. This is unfortunate, but does speak to how delicate these are. If this happens to you I am SURE the seller would replace the chipped item. I received the item in exchange for a review, so I don't expect that - but be sure to inspect the glasses when you receive them. They really are incredibly delicate, and though they were well-packed, these things happen. Four solid stars and I do recommend these - but keep in mind, they're not meant to be durable, they're meant to be babied. :)

Really cute Christmas glasses.

I like that these are hand painted. How pretty. These are made of nice thick glass that seems very sturdy and long lasting. They are hand wash only so be prepared to have that maintenance. Gift able. I’m ready for Christmas wine now!

Wonderful size goblets for eggnog

Usually when I think of goblets, they are much smaller. These goblets are perfect for the Holidays. I love eggnog and have a lot during Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. The glasses are large enough to make it a double, someone who like a lot of ice in their eggnog or other beverage and great for frozen eggnog and wine. The is clear and very well decorated with Holly and berries. I love they did red glass for the bottom. These are very reasonably price, and the overall quality is excellent. I would and will be buying more of these beautiful Holiday goblets. I highly recommend 100%
