Seems good so far

I’ve been using this safety clip for about a week now. So far, it seems pretty good. I use it to hook my dog’s prong collar to her flat collar just in case her prong collar pops off like it did last week. I have read that people also use carabiners as safety clips for their dogs as well. Had I known about this before, I would’ve tried that out first. I will see how long this safety clip lasts though. I tried tugging on both ends at the same time super hard and it seems pretty strong so I’m hoping it will do its job well should my dog’s prong collar pop off again.

65# pit with prong collar cuz he doesn’t like CATS on our walks

My ‘foster fail’ Pittie is all muscle and initially a puller when walking; then to see a cat, I knew I’d be the loser first then the cat. I got a prong collar following you tube videos from American standard dog training. With two corrections he walked so much better with me. I made a homemade dual clasp with some old swing chain and clips. It made a lot of noise and had too much extra so it really sounded and looked like he was some killer pit bull but he’s super friendly to all; again, unless you are a cat. I stumbled across this dual clip and ordered it. It’s way smaller than my homemade one but it’s actually very durable and string. It doesn’t make all the noise mine did and yet still serves the purpose. We encountered a CAT and my dog is doing better with ‘leave it’ but when he wanted to pull back I have the prong then dual clip for back up. I’m very pleased with not in,y the budget friendly price, but the durability and reassurance I have with it so if the prong ever snaps it’s back up by this from his leash to collar. Although I won’t need the prong much longer; vast improvement, it’s great having this clip for now. It’s also adjustable so you can give a lot or little length depending on your preference.

Too big

I got a medium for my miniature Doxie and it’s too big but looks like I can’t exchange it. He’s a medium in all the other harness. For size reference he’s 11 pounds. He likes to run and his little leg came out of it. I’ll have to repurchase a small one for him.

Favorite Harness

The Voyager harnesses are the favorite of our small dog rescue. We try to send every adopted dog with one that fits them well. They are snug and safe and comfortable. Easy to put on the dog unlike some that require endless adjustments. Great harnesses.

Get for your pets safety

We use a pinch collar and it has come apart a few times. So this is a safety buffer for us. We attach it to the vest and the the leash which is attached to the collar. When the collar comes off I still have control of our dog. Worth the buy.

Shorty new harness

Shorty loves his comfy harness. It's soft and fits his dashound self. I have tried many different ones and he slips out. This one is great for him.

Peace of Mind...

We just adopted a rescue dog. The rescue encouraged us to use a harness on him, and we had never used one. Worried about him slipping him collar or harness, as we had heard horror stories from friends who adopted, we decided to purchase this for peace of mind. That way, there was an extra "layer of protection" in case he got scared or something on a walk, since he was new and still decompressing in his new home. It is easy to attach from his collar to the clasp on his harness. It does not hinder his walk, and it allows us to feel more comfortable as we work on his training and making him feel more comfortable on his walkies. I absolutely recommend this to anyone is worried about their dog slipping their harness/collar, doing training, has a rescue, etc. It's just that extra peace of mind in case something would happen. New dogs, whether a rescue or not, may not know their surroundings and are scared. This ensures they won't be able to get away if they happen to slip either their collar or harness while on a walk!

Best harness on the market

Perfect dog harnesses

I've been buying these from the US Amazon site for years and they are the most perfect little dog harnesses ever. I've tried so many over the years and ended up despairing of finding the right one until I found these - they are practically perfect. All you do is step the dog's front legs in, Velcro it up and snap the clip together. The harness is ergonomically shaped to fit the contours of the dog's body and it won't chafe, pull off when the dog stops suddenly or shrink when it rains. You can machine wash it at 40 degrees and it won't spoil - just pop it in a wash bag first so that you don't get dog hair on your own stuff and the d-rings don't clang about in your machine and it'll come out like new. They do take a while to arrive from the US but it's worth it in the end because once you've tried one of these, you won't look back plus, you won't see anything like this in the UK - just pale imitations that are part mesh/part strap and are useless. If you have an escape artist or a dog with tender skin that chafes easily, get some of these - you won't look back. Ok, so they're expensive but I've had mine for my entire dog's life and he's nine now, plus his late sister wore them as well and they are barely showing any signs of wear after almost ten years of use. I find that, when buying them, because of the duty you have to pay, it's best to order a few as the duty is the same for a few as it is for one. You can always return them if they're not suitable.

Adorable, durable, comfortable

I absolutely adore these little harnesses. This is my third lot and even though they are expensive to ship from the USA, they are well worth it because of their fit and durability. Pop them in the washer after a muddy walk and they'll come up like new. They don't slip to the side like webbing harnesses do, nor do they chafe the dog or cause them any discomfort whatsoever. Mine sometimes go to day-care if I'm out for the day and they keep their harnesses on all day with no problems at all - mainly because they are so excited when I go to pick them up, the kennel-maid can't get them back on! Each harness will last about two years before it starts to get worn-out but I do only put them on once or twice before washing - they would probably last longer if you didn't wash them as much but I like my dogs to wear 'clean clothes' every day! If you're having harness problems, buy some of these - you won't be sorry. Once you buy one, you'll want more - I have two Jack Russell's and they wear matching sets - pink and blue combo's and they look gorgeous - people always comment and ask where I got them from. It's just a pity they aren't available in the UK because shipping from the US takes such a long time. The UK duty on them is quite high as well - more than the actual delivery fee! If someone out there with a pet shop sees this - please start stocking them in the UK - I'll be your first and best customer!

the best harness

This is the best dog harness on the market I would pay double the money for it if I had to. It just worked extremely well and is the first harness I've not had to replace due to it breaking and I think I've been through six different ones over a short period of time. the design and materials are of a high standard and I'm happy I found it on the American store of Amazon cause the ones on the UK store didn't hold up as well as this does. I would definitely recommend purchasing it.

Good fit for slim dogs

I usually struggle to find a harness that fits my dog that is small and slim, but longer than average. This fits nicely and doesn't seem to bother her at all. The edging is nice and soft so doesn't dig in to her skin. I haven't washed it yet, but it seems sturdy enough.

Good all round

I must like this harness as my mum has bought it twice. First one lasted 3 years. Then she ordered another due to wearing it out, I'm a little sod and like to pull especially if I see pussycats and squirrels. . Its the only one that is easy to use, so my mum says and I can say it's very comfortable and looks good on! From Charles
