I don't know much about make-up, but I do know that my wife likes all Peter Thomas Roth products, and this one (she says) is a keeper. I have re-ordered for on several occasions and would recommend for all women

Useless!
Not only was this Primer not effective as "firming and tightening", it rolls up and flakes off with the application of foundation. And, YES, I did wait a full 10 minutes after application to make sure it was completely dry before applying my foundation. It made absolutely no difference in the appearance of my skin. It is much too expensive, as other - less expensive primers- are so much more effective.

Sand-like
The texture went on with a sand-like feel and did not blur or fill any of my pores or wrinkles. Extremely disappointed with the price point being HIGH for my budget.

The first two tubes were great -- third was awful.
I've bought three tubes of this so far from the PTR website The first two tubes were fabulous. This third one, though, is terrible -- I've shaken it vigorously several times, but: * it is grainy, as if tiny bits of sand were mixed in; * there are slimy "sheets" that stick to various places on my face -- they don't smooth out, they just move about until I need to wipe them off and start over; * this doesn't fix the under-eye puffiness at all; * it leaves little "balls" on my face, like the pilling on an old sweater. I requested a replacement from a different batch -- even gave them the number on the crimp. Nope. I got an email with instructions to return it -- AT MY OWN EXPENSE -- and they would issue a refund. I would have given it three stars because of the experience with the first two tubes, but the lousy customer service took it down another notch.
