Exactly what you need if you get the large Fuse Beads

I like Fuse Beads - have since I was introduced to them about 30 years ago. However, I knew that they were not going to be good for my young children, so I bought the big ones. These were the only option for boards that I could find on Amazon at the time, and I got them on the cheap - like 5 dollars. At that price they are fine. Pros - They do what you need, and they are large enough where you can make designs and whatnot. They are really thick and that means they are durable which is great (especially when using them with young children). At a low price point, they do not have any patterns really, and that is fine since you can look some up online or create your own, and make those. Cons - none really to speak of, especially since there are no others that I had found at the time on Amazon, and when compared to the smaller sized ones, these seem better all around. Some more patterns might be nice. Good product at a reasonably low price (would be nicer if they were cheaper or if they charged more and had more shapes available, but as is they are fine). One set is all I need so I am happy with them.

Even bigger fun than the original, but limited color choices.

The kids love it. I got it so my two-year-old could do "melty beads" alongside her sisters. She likes handing the beads to a helper more than placing them on the board herself at this point. Older kids and adults like this and the larger beads, too. The finished creations are very substantial, and do not break apart easily. I like that you can connect two or more boards. CONS: These boards are clear plastic, and somewhat hard to see. Also covered with pointy spikes. If your kids are like mine, it will end up on the floor, and you might step on it - OW! Also, I recommend using the "tape method" to avoid ironing the beads directly on the board, ESPECIALLY if your project does not completely cover the entire surface of the board(s). I have seen these lovely boards warped badly from the heat of the iron. Biggie Beads come in very few colors at the time of this writing. Obviously this limits what can be made, but Perler will certainly remedy this if these bigger beads become popular.

Great for Little Hands

I love the Biggie Beads by Perler! These frames can be used individually or snapped together for a larger project.

Love these biggie boards! Preferred over the smaller ones for my kids (4, 6, 8)

These are a must if you have more than one kid who will be using them. They even like connecting the boards to make larger items which end up looking pretty cool. The beadsPerler BIGGIE Fun Fusion Fuse Bead Bucket-Assorted Colors are awesome but they DON'T come with a board. After seeing that my 6 and 8 year old preferred biggie beads to the original beadsPerler Bucket O' Beads Fun Fusion Fuse Bead Kit-Sea Life even though they love sea animals, I also bought this board that comes with neat patternsPerler Fused Bead Pattern Kit, Biggie Bead Tray 'n Cards . The patterns are really nice and made "creation making" a bit easier for my 4-year old. This was a great purchase for this summer!

Peg board

My seven-year-old has the small Perler beads and I knew my five-year-old would want to join so I got her the larger. It was a great price and my daughter really loves these things. The big ones are great for smaller hands, I highly recommend!

Item as described. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try it as I was in a hurry and I didn’t read the description well enough and didn’t realize it’s for the biggie beads. Dissapointed as I needed the regular boards for the smaller perler beads But that was my own fault!
