Great Feeder!

What do you think I would use a hummingbird feeder for??? I feed hummingbirds with it!!! The feeder was in a sizeable box packed fairly well with air bags; however, the feeder had obviously shaken around pretty well during transit and the base (where the feeding ports are located) was bent rather badly. My husband worked on it for a bit and it is good working order; however, if he had not been around, i would not have been able to do the repair. It is very pretty and is an asset to our deck.

Is it worth the price

If you expect a Beautiful feeder, solidly constructed and worth the price… Surprise!!! This is WAY nicer than I expected!! This is Heirloom quality!

rusts quickly

Very pretty but the metal base rusted quickly. We have five feeders and this is the birds' least favorite, perhaps because they don't like the smell or taste of the rust.

Prettier in person

This is packaged well, and very pretty, I almost did not buy this as a gift b/c she loves Pink and it looked too light in pictures w/o enough flare. However, in person it is striking and still a soft pink but a richer soft pink. I really am happy with this purchase and I think anyone would love this...Awesome! I am more pleased than I thought I would be!

Fades rusts

Don't get the ones that open on the top. It's a nice idea but difficult to fill because either end you go it leaks out the other til you get it back together. The color only lasts for 1 season then it's clear, spray paints easy. The bottom metal rusts quickly, not good for birds. Nice idea but needs upgrade.

Beautiful Feeder & the Hummers Love It!!!

The media could not be loaded. I recently bought three of these feeders and the hummingbirds absolutely love them!! They are very easy to fill & clean. Not to mention that they are beautiful to look at! I hung three of these in my backyard and literally within 10 minutes I had about 15 hummingbirds fighting over them. And these are my first feeders. I was worried I wouldn't get any birds but I shouldn't have worried! Not with these feeders!! Now my backyard sounds like an aviary! They are very good quality. I highly recommend these for anyone who wants a lot of the little birds in their yard. In fact, I just placed an order for another one!

Don’t waste your money - not designed to last more than 2 seasons, even in ideal conditions

Don’t expect these to last more than 2 seasons and don’t expect the company to stand behind the product. We purchased a hummingbird feeder on May 30, 2020. We’ve had it for less than 2 years, and the metal base is already rusting…. Birds have stopped drinking from the feeder altogether (we have 4 feeders). The feeder was well taken care of – cleaned frequently, hanging under a sheltered area, brought inside in late fall… we are really disappointed that it was not designed to last more than 2 years. I was hoping for a replacement of the base – ideally a plastic base instead of a metal one. Other models we purchased that have a plastic base are still usable (from the same manufacturer). I sent the above details to the manufacturer through their customer service email form. 2 business days later I got this response: Thank you for contacting us. We're sorry to hear that this happened to your feeder. Replacement bases are not available for our feeders. They have a one year replacement policy. Reach out with any questions. Lauren Online Customer Experience Specialist Woodstream Corporation ——————- My reply to them was to add these details to their product description and packaging: You just accept that your $30 feeders have a 2-year shelf life? So #sorrynotsorry really… You should add features to your packaging 1 - Adds unnecessary waste to landfills guaranteed within 2 years 2 - Designed to not last more than 24 months intentionally. Metal not rust resistant all all, even in the most ideal conditions and care.

Beautiful to humans and hummingbirds alike!

The media could not be loaded. This hummingbird feeder is GORGEOUS. It is very high quality and beautifully made. It comes apart nicely for cleaning- much easier than the traditional tacky looking feeders. Best of all, the hummingbirds love it. They go into holding patterns to take turns eating from it!

Does not do the job it is supposed to do.

The product is great except there is a MAJOR issue. Once the water at the base is drank, the water in the upper part does not come down unless the whole unit is put at an angle (turn the water can go down to the base where Easter is for the bird to drink) So the bird have no liquid to drink. Poor design or mine is defective. It does not do the job it is supposed to do. A few people looked at it and are puzzled with this issue. Can’t be fixed

Bit smaller than expected but very nice

bit smaller than i expected but quite nice. Much more interesting than the typical plastic ones, and would be suitable as a gift for someone. That said, it does not come in a box, it's just wrapped in bubble wrap. I noticed all the wrap had come off mine by the time it got to me, but there was no damage which suggests it's tougher than it looks. Note: For cleaning, you'll need to get a bottle brush as the bottle opening is only about 1.75" wide. Lastly, I noticed someone made a comment regarding the wire handle (on this are another similar bird feeder) and indicated it was not strait and they didn't want to bend it. Based on the design the handle with lie askew, but you just need to push it strait - hardly takes any force at all and there's no risk of damaging it - ie my 4 year old could do it. This is totally normal because of the wary the wires wrap around the handle - difficult to explain but you understand what i mean when you have it. So, yes, it's very nice

Attracts humming birds

I noticed as soon as I hung this feeder outside to help Anna's humming birds get through the winter months that it attracted more of them than the model that I had been using previously. It also holds a larger volume of liquid than my previous one, which reduces the chances of the liquid freezing during the winter months. You may have to buy an inexpensive hook, as I did, to hang it from a tree branch.
