Parts missing
There was one of the bee guards missing. I didn't think it was worth returning for the price. Product should have had 4 bee guards.

plastic loop to hang
Not happy about a plastic place to put a wire to hang. Not sure about the sturdiness of that small plastic loop. I had one similar and loved it and it lasted for years. but had a better way to hang.

Constantly leaking
Anyone else who purchased this feeder have constant leaking like I do? I don't know why it's doing that it's like it's constantly filling up and spurting out the nectar. Any suggestions from anyone?

Disappointed
I bought this last year because I was having issues with cleaning and breaking the tabs on the back of the holes with other feeders and thought this would be great. Well, as soon as I put it up it was leaning. I contacted company and they said some times the threading is wrong try to take the hook off and on again. Well, that didn't fix it and now when the hummers come they think it's empty so they leave. I think its a good concept but didn't work for me because of the threading. I am going back to the old feeders and I don't recommend this one.

Bee Proof..but not really
I bought this feeder because my other 2 with big port openings were attracting bees. I was so disappointed when this feeder did too. While the cages around the ports make it so bees can't get to or into the port, the nectar pools up in the bottom of the flowers due to the port tube being so short and horizontal. The bees will just hang out in the flower to get the nectar. When you fill it and flip it, you need to do it over a sink because nectar shoots out as soon as you flip it. My other issue is that the bee guards are yellow...which is a color bees are attracted to. I was desperate to see if it would keep the bees away but it hasn't. I will still try use it in cooler weather but I have a feeling I'll still have a bee problem. Durability I'll give it 5/5. We live in AZ and it gets 105+ out here and this held up well in the few days it was that hot. Ease of cleaning I'll give it 4/5. There are a lot of pieces. The bee cages also open for some reason. I'll have to look into why, but I find it a downside as they can be hard to open and it does make it more to ensure they're cleaned and sanitized also. The spillage and the fact that bees can still get to the nectar makes me rate this the way I did. I think if the port was angled upward more, there probably wouldn't be an issue. I will try to see what I can do to extend the feeding tube, but I feel that is a design flaw that should be fixed. Even if the wind blows and the feeder starts swinging, nectar spills out, or if anything bigger than a hummingbird lands on it, the nectar just spills out from slightly tipping to any side. Probably wouldn't buy again unless they extend the tubes. I would say purchase this if you don't mind those things. It's really not a bad feeder, just messier than others.

Worth the price
I have a lemon tree in my backyard and have been seeing a few hummingbirds feeding from the blossoms over the summer, so when those flowers started falling off I thought I'd give it a shot at putting a feeder out for them. Within an hour of putting this feeder up the hummingbirds began feeding from it and now about 2 weeks later I am seeing hummingbirds come and use the feeder everyday. I've read some reviews saying this feeder is difficult to clean. Maybe these folks are just way more thorough than me on their cleaning routine but I personally found no issue with cleaning it. Id recommend one of those long bristle brushes for cleaning out baby bottles (the super thin ones) if you want to be extra thorough but I had no problem with just using strong, running water and dish soap. Liquid will come out of the feeder openings (the yellow flower part) but only if you tilt it way to the side or put the exposed basin under running water. However it doesnt drip or leak when the clean bottle attachment is filled and attached correctly, nor when left hanging or when sitting flat. Only real regret is this one doesn't have perches for the hummingbirds to sit on while they feed but those are usually standard in the more expensive models and, again, for this price its a small detail thats easy to overlook. Definately recommend as a starter feeder for hummingbirds, or one that can be included with several others if you're fortunate enough to have dozens of hummingbirds that frequent your home. Definately worth the $

Leaks EVERYWHERE
If you're looking for a hummingbird feeder that will leave your floors and walls sticky, then this is the unit for you! The unit continuously drips everywhere and there's nothing you can do about it. Spend more money and get a better unit. These are being returned as all they'll do is attract ants and wasps. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

They Leak More Than the Birds can Drink
I guess you get what you pay for. My wife bought these and didn’t see Dan’s review. They’re cheap and they leak all over the deck. Bought 2 and basically wasted $20, into the recycling bin they go and will head down to Canadian Tire to buy the tried and true glass ones.

Not that great, leaks a lot
First hummingbird that I've ever bought, went with it due to price. It has a tendency to leak when it sways around due to wind or a hummingbird landing on it. Then the bees are attracted to it because of the leakage. I've researched a bit and found that you won't have this problem with the flat saucer feeders. More expensive, but no leaking. It is easy to clean, which is good since it gets covered with bee poop by all the visiting bees.

A little disappointed
Purchased this s a gift. Cute feeder but 2 of the plastic pieces to keep ants out are missing. I now see in reading other reviews that others have had the same problem. Contacted.company for the replacement pcs, but haven't heard back from them, or received anything in the mail. I wish they would repond. If they can send out the 2 pcs, I would be happy to update my review.

Plastic, cheap, and leaks.
Pretty much what you expect from a dollar store. They leak everywhere, if the wind so much as moves them a small bit they drain the syrup out the plastic flowers. This wrecked my oak planter, put syrup all over my plants and had an infestation of ants. Spend a bit more money and get a better quality one!
