1000 count is accurate enough
After reading some rather scathing reviews here about the quality and quantity, I had to do an inspection myself. Seriously, people getting miffed about popsicle sticks... I counted 999 but admit I could have been off one or 2. All uniform, less than 10 had a warp (fixable with a little water and reverse bend), one had a tiny notch from a knot, one was about half thickness. Picture shows (almost) 20 piles of 50. 5/5 stars

Very sturdy
Use them to build and play counting games with my grandson. Very helpful for children that learn better with touch and physical representation

Not a standard-sized popsicle/craft stick
Was disappointed upon opening the box and wondered how 1000 sticks could fit inside such a small box. Then I learned why. It's because they're not the same size at traditional popsicle sticks. These are the same length, but the width is smaller than a typical craft stick. They appear to be the same thickness, but the smaller width makes them a bit less sturdy than other brands. To clarify, if you lay them flat on a table, they're skinnier than regular popsicle sticks. Now I know why they were so much cheaper than the ones I usually purchase. If you made ice cream bars or other treats with any substantial weight, these sticks border on being just a bit too flimsy in my opinion. As stir sticks, the smaller width, albeit minimal, affects the paddle stirring motion and it's no really a good stirring stick for the projects I bought them for in the first place. I'll tolerate them, but I wouldn't buy again. It's not a standard size popsicle/craft stick.

Meh, overall not bad
Why would I rate popsicle sticks a 3? lol Why, well.... this box has 1000 in them. You would think, that it would be 1000 in usable shape. If you expect 1000 usable straight, unwarped, great looking sticks for craft work, you are wrong. My package has knots, holes, bent, crooked, semi-solid sticks at a ratio of maybe 30% unusable for craft work. I suppose they can be used to mix paint and apply glue, so not a total loss but I have had to resort to using two storage containers. The garbage ones, and the ones that have yet to be pulled out of the shipping box. The package was promptly delivered and kudos to who ever delivered it for trying to hide it on the porch. I appreciate that, thank you.

What Happened to the Quality?
This is the third time I’ve ordered these craft sticks, and I was previously a repeat customer for a reason: not any more! The quality of the most recent box of sticks is terrible. Most of the sticks in this box have cracks, holes, and/or discolouration. If you need these craft sticks to look clean and pristine for your projects, it’s a hard pass. I’m using these as tint stir sticks and hope that at least one end will be useful. Very disappointed. The first two boxes were incredibly clean and intact. Will look for an alternate next time.

Maybe not "perfect" stix... but really good overall
940 good sticks, and 72 disabled ones in the packages. Quite happy with this especially after having read reviews mentioning that some people got shortchanged on the quantity! The disabled sticks will be perfect for mixing epoxy and the kids can use the rest for crafts!

Good Product
The popsicle sticks came in packaged well. I counted them and we were short (under100) and there were several damaged ones 36 to be exact. The quality of the good ones are great and serve the purpose of crafting. They also have a nice smooth finish to them. I just wish we had all of the sticks and not be shorted.

They can not count!
We needed 1000 sticks for a math project and both boxes were short a least 150. They were received quickly when I ordered in August and most were of good quality. Still waiting for a response from the company.
