Great for labeling quilts
I normally use a micron pen to label my quilts, but they don't write easily on fabric and I usually have to go over each letter multiple times to make sure the writing is dark enough. I've only labeled one quilt so far, but the actual labeling process was great! These markers write really well on fabric. The ink is dark/vibrant and goes on smoothly. I did not experience any bleeding while writing and did not need to go over any of the letters more than once. I have already washed the quilt (machine cold, tumble dry low), and the color still looks great and didn't bleed or fade in the wash. I'll update again once I've labeled more quilts and washed them more to comment on fading/longevity, but so far, I'm definitely happy with these! My only complaint is I wish I could buy the colors individually, especially the black. I don't really have a need for all the colors, but I'll try to use colors besides black when possible, so I don't waste them.

Awesome!
For my recent birthday, I wore a t-shirt to work that says “It’s my birthday, sign my shirt!” I got these for my coworkers to sign it with. They worked perfectly, and it still looks just as good after washing the shirt. No complaints!

Fun for beginners lettering & art
One of my favorites, for the intensity of colors.

Lots of fun
I bought these to decorate the cheap plain cloth masks I have, and I've really enjoyed it. So far, they haven't run in the wash (I wash the masks in cold, of course), unlike some of the regular sharpies I've used. I have two main complaints. First, the tip is a bit like a paintbrush, long and thin at the point, but soft. This is supposed to let us draw thick or thin, but it's easy for the tip to bend or brush against the cloth next to it and make marks I don't want. This might be easier to avoid on different fabrics. Secondly, the yellow, orange, and pink are more of a neon color, which doesn't fit with the other colors in the set, which means that I can't make a rainbow design without the yellow and orange looking weird. I wish they'd given us 12 instead of 10 so we could have the whole rainbow plus the neon bright colors.

Dries fast... Won't bleed... Can be washed
I was making a memory quilt for a wedding that guests could write messages on. After trying the Tulip Fabric Markers (which bled so much, you could not see any detail) and reading other reviews about several brands of fabric markers, I decided to try the Sharpie brand. I was NOT disappointed! They are made specifically for creating artistic designs on fabric, but will work for creating/coloring designs or writing messages on a memory quilt. Being that I was creating a cotton wedding memory quilt, I created a small 9-block test piece (8"x8") with the same fabric as the quilt to test bleeding, drying time, heat setting, and wash resistance. After writing on the various blocks (using all 8 colors), I immediately brushed my finger across one I just finished writing and it smeared slightly (as if there was a shadow). After a few minutes of drying, I tried again on another block and nothing smeared. 30 mins later, I heat set half of the test piece. 2 hours after drying, I washed the test piece in with similar material in a Cold water cycle with no fabric softener. It was then dried on Low with a fabric dryer sheet. Both sides (heat set / no-heat set) looked the same. There was no bleeding, smearing, or fading. Well done, Sharpie! Well done. PROS: -dries fast -will not smear after short drying time (3-5 mins) -no need to heat set -will not bleed -can be washed (Cold) & dried (Low) shortly after after ink has dried (1-2 hours) CONS: -can use more than 8 colors -can smear if ink is touched before it dries -sold only in 4 or 8 packs

These are ok
I purchased these in hopes to learn hand lettering. That hobby got super frustrating and old fast so I thought I could use them to write on solo cups. Lesson learned- they do not write on plastic cups very well. Also, not good starter markers for hand lettering as recommended by some Youtube video I watched.

Shapie laundry pen reimagined for a hip rebranding
My Sharpie laundry pen dried out because I didn't cap it tightly enough, I went to buy another and price was 5x what it used to be. Lo and behold, Sharpie discontinued the laundry pen. I phone called Sharpie, and they said Sharpie Stained is the replacement for the laundry pen. I gotta write my kids' names on clothes and stuff, so I got a set. Sharpie Stained has a different tip than a regular Sharpie and than a laundry pen. Sharpie Stained have a brush tip that is longer and pointier than the older laundry pen style. They also look odd and have a splatter design, not like the traditional Sharpie. Most of this is rebranding to be more hip/cool/non-office. It's fine to write with on fabric. I feel it's less suitable than laundry pen for writing on hard surfaces, and I don't like the change to the new tip shape, but I don't care enough to pay more for a "new old stock" laundry pen. Some projects I had going, like a board where I marked my kids' heights, now have very slightly different pen style. Holds up fine to washing. Regular Sharpie will fade with washing and will feather more when used on fabric. Sharpie Stained is for fabric.

Bit of a learning curve but a great marker
These don't bleed as well as plain sharpies when doing tie die. Tip is a bit hard to get used to to not accidentally smug. Once you get used to them they do work well. Set well, would purchase again. Dry 24 hrs, then throw them in your dryer a hr to make sure the colour holds best.

Great price for stained marker sets!
This product is relatively cheap and it works consistently on most clothing-related items. That being said, there are a few issues. First, the colour will bleed through neighboring areas of the clothing, especially if the material is not 100% cotton. Second, the ink is really easy to wash off by hand or washer. I do still recommend this item, because it works and the quality is decent for the price!

Dry out / use up very quickly
I love the coulours they are vibrant and work well. I'm colouring the flowers in a other wise white dress; three of the markers have already ran out though and I'm not even a quarter of the way through the dress :/ really disappointed by that because one, it's really not that much space im colouring and now I have to buy these ones again in order to keep the colours matching from what I've already started... and they've gone up in price... yay...

Colours bled consistently. Too bad - good colours.
Bought these to write my mother’s name into all of her clothes as she moved into a care home. Unfortunately, the ink bled into almost all of the fabric and clothing labels. We had to switch to iron-on labels (and other markers). One star, though, because the colours are true to the caps. That’s pretty cool.

Great fabric pen
I used those for a project on a very light off-white fabric (diy bunting banner). Every color pops out well (yellow is a little hard to see), doesn't bleed much (dark colors bleed a tiny bit) and is easy to use, glides well. The light colors are kind of "highlighter" style, as shown, to me these aren't the most beautiful but that's personal.
