Quality wool shirt

This was a very expensive “Shirt “ I have never spend that much money on a shirt - The reviews were incredible. , that was why I purchased it at 149$ People had said they received it from there dad or grandpa ,Then passed it on to a son or grandson Figured it might be worth it -if we could do that . Well imagine my dissatisfaction after 1 month The snap on the sleeve broke ! I immediately got in touch with Pendleton & they said -send it back and they replaced it “ No Charge “ my husband is pleased & we are hoping we can pass it on for generations like the reviews . Oh and have washed BOTH shirts in cold water and hung to dry & neither one has shrunk . So so far so good ????

It's a Pendleton!

Not much more needs to be said. Pendelton is THE name brand for quality wool shirts. This one has almost everything I wanted: o It can be worn untucked. No need to tuck it into your belt. For a chubby guy like me, that is a big plus. o Its design facilitates being tucked in. It has a slight curve on the bottom that works as tucked into trousers or left out. o Two pockets. I like to put lots of stuff in shirt pockets. The only shortcoming is the pockets are a bit shallow for me. I prefer longer pockets because I have a tall cell phone and I put it in a chest pocket. o The pockets have snaps. Open pockets and bouncing around in the outdoors don't go together. This shirt has fold over flaps with snaps. o snaps instead of buttons. I love snaps. They are are easy on my clumsy fingers and make it easy to remove a shirt in two seconds. o Nothing beats wool in the outdoors. Wool breathes, so perspiration evaporates. Wool insulates even when it is wet from rain or perspiration. Wool doesn't hold odors; this is one its great features for use on multi-day trips, like a seven day backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon (it's not called a canyon shirt for nothing). I wear wool socks, wool pants, wool shirt, wool glove liners, and wool hat. And I am the warmest, most comfortable, least smelly guy in a group. Would I change anything about this shirt to get to my ideal shirt? Yes: o deeper pockets. I already mentioned this personal preference. o thinner fabric. Pendleton makes a thinner fabric. This is a medium. It will be warm in the summer whereas their thin fabric can be worn year round.

Will last the rest of my life

I bought my first Pendleton shirt when I was 15 years old used at a second hand store. It was too big for my skinny self but I liked it so I wore it almost every day, for work, play or dress. 23 years later it's still my favorite shirt that I wear probably four days a week. But it is tight on me now that I have filled out some and it's getting thin in the elbows because I do a lot of hard outdoor work. So I bought a new one, figuring if the new one lasts half as long as the old one has it will be the deal of the century. The new one is the same as the old one without the wear. Fabric is thick and quality and the one size larger fits me perfectly. The snaps are top quality and look like they will last forever. I will wear this shirt and pass the old one on to someone smaller than me for a third owner. The new one I expect to last for the rest of my life.

Nice sweater.

Nice sweater. Very comfortable as I expected. Not wild about the color kept it anyway. I am a crotchety old man 85 years old. I wear it a lot.

Really a great shirt : classic design

I love the way this shirt looks and fits . I get a lot of positive attention and compliments when I wear it . It’s a quality Pendleton shirt with all the right details. Made of 100% wool , so you’re going to want it as an over shirt .

Poor quality

The shirt's construction was of poor quality as evidenced by the buttons falling off after just a few washes. Pendleton declined to repair the product, claiming there is no warranty for their items when purchased from Amazon ????

Loved it, very satisfied with my purchase.

I ordered this as a gift for my husband, because he loves the Pendleton shirts. It fit perfectly. The colors were better in person. The only thing is, I would have liked the fabric to be a bit thicker, but it is because of the style I chose. Will definitely purchase more.

Perfection

I love Pendleton canyon shirts. If you can pick one up under $180 cad, you’ve done well. These are my go to, all year round: outer layer for summer nights, mid layer in winter, fall jacket unless it’s windy, spring shirt for outdoor work. Have 3, never wash them, wear like iron and look good too. Probably wore the first one 150 days over the first year I had it, and I added 2 more over time. These are best wool western shirts money can buy.
