Nice looking piece of plastic.

They say, don’t judge a book by its cover. Or in this case, don't let the photos or description fool you. Yes, this modern looking faucets looks nice & classy. However, the quality is much less to be desired. Description indicates “stainless”…I assumed stainless steel. But when it arrived I swear the entire faucet was made of sheer hard plastic with a beautiful silver color paint finish, that’s it. In fact, it was so light in weight that was able to pick up the entire unit with just my pinky. However, since I needed a new faucet immediately to replace my old one, I decided to keep it and install it anyway. Sure, it was easy to do so and in looks nice in my kitchen. But it’s definitely not worth $100….maybe $50 at the most. We will see how the coating-finish will last and if it will it hold up overall in the years to come. I’ll keep you posted.

It's doing the job!

Bought this to replace an old faucet set that was leaky. Had it installed and no more lesk!!! Looks decent mounted on the stainless steel double sink in the kitchen. It was reasonably priced ans zeems quite serviceable. Mich easier to use with the high arch faucet!

sprayer sucks

love the faucet but the sprayer sucks! the on/off kept popping off the hose is too short and the weight on hose broke on install... I had to replace sprayer after 3 month use

Nice old-style kitchen faucet

This is a small update to the old-fashioned style kitchen faucet with separate sprayer. This replaced a similar one but has a nicer finish - brushed stainless vs. chrome - and this one has nicer 1/4 turn faucet handles. I like the separate handles better than the single-handle type, but if we didn't already have 4 holes in our sink I would have preferred a pull-down sprayer vs. this separate one. But I suppose they both have their advantages. The spout swivels but isn't loose. The faucet handles feel heavy and turn smoothly. The aerator doesn't have a spray mode, so for spray one must use the separate sprayer, which means you are using one hand just for that. I can't seem to remove the aerator to install the water filter from the old faucet. This aerator is at a slight angle so I'm not sure it would have worked anyway. It might have come off with a lot of force but I didn't want to risk breaking it or ruining the finish with a wrench or pliers. For installation, you need connection hoses and might need a wrench and silicone if the surface under the top of the faucet plate isn't smooth. There is a cheap plastic piece that is enough for smooth surfaces. You can use 3/8" O.D. copper or PEX supply lines (with the included coupling nuts) ornewer plastic hoses (1/2" IPS or MIP) to connect to the faucet - not included. Peerless has a good lifetime warranty and will usually even send new faucet cartridges if you ever need them. Overall this is a decent quality old-style kitchen faucet that is perfect for a 4-hole sink. Otherwise you could always stick a soap dispenser in the extra hole if you want to upgrade to a pull-down sprayer.

Nice looking faucet, feels sturdy

Disclosure: This item has been offered to me by the Amazon Vine program to review. I pay a tax to the IRS on its value as "unearned income" for the current tax year. This is a nice looking faucet with sturdy handles. There is no sense of pushing against a flimsy piece of bending plastic when operating the faucet, as is the case with cheap models. That said, almost all models in this price category are basically plastic-framed with thin metal veneers, so care should be taken during installation not to dent the exterior. As we have a very deep kitchen sink, installation is never easy, but fortunately the hoses did not need to be replaced (a previous big-box store model began leaking after only a couple of years, so the hoses were still fine). The previous model also began delaying shut-off (water would gradually stop flowing instead of being almost instantaneous), and I hope that this model will not have the same problem.
