Perfect!

Just received my peacoat and love it! It is just like the one I had when I was a schoolgirl. Classic. Timeleess. Navy blue is a perfect shade; not too dark that it is almost black, and not too blue that it doesn't look like navy blue. Excellent fabric blend and smooth polyester lining. Deep pockets, an they are partially sewed closed for shipping and need to be snipped open. Anti-moisture packets inside pockets. Thorough information on labels. It is made in China, and very well made. I wear a size 6, and I bought a size 6 which runs true to size. Sleeves are perfect length for me. (5 ft. 6.5"). Looking forward to walking outdoors in this peacoat and may even buy another.

Non petite size that sits awkwardly on a petite frame.

The quality of this jacket is beautiful, it is a great wool blend with a satiny inner lining that’s warm and comfortable and feels like being enveloped in a hug. However, I’m 5’5”, didn’t think I was that petite, but the fit of this jacket is awkward. I think it’s made for a taller & broader person, so the sleeves hang over to my palms and the padded shoulders sit a little wide and look… baggy. There was no petite option in the sizing though and the sizing around my bust, waist and hips are a true 16 & fit perfectly when I button this up, so not baggy in that area. All in all, very comfortable to wear but looks awkward. I’m keeping it but I wish it looked better on me.

Color So9 vs Deep Indigo

Coat is a light weight wool and well made for the price: Fully lined, decent buttons. I would liked to have seen a bit more detail such as a partial belt across the back for a more tailored look. I was hoping for a sapphire blue color and decided to take a chance on color So9. So9 is periwinkle, a bluish purple color. I also ordered the coat in Deep Indigo, which is not navy but a lovely deep blue color. I'm returning So9 but for now keeping the Deep Indigo. So9 arrived folded nicely in a large plastic bag. Deep Indigo arrived literally rolled in a ball and stuffed into a plastic bag about the size of a grocery bag. The buttons all 6 of them, have made indentations in the fabric. I'll be taking it to be steamed and hopefully all the wrinkles and dents will come out. If not, it will need to be returned...such a shame.

Great Fall Coat

I love the quality of construction of this Calvin Klein pea jacket. It is a perfect weight for late fall in Canada. The colour is amazing. I had to shorten the sleeves, but otherwise the jacket fits perfectly.

Beautiful coat, luscious fabric and color, buttons fell off!

Soft heavy pea coat fabric, lots of compliments. I love this coat. Well tailored, looks "put together." For me, the sleeves are too long, which is unusual for me for a petite. But it's a wonderful coat and I'm going to love wearing it for years. And Calvin Klein, I hope someone in the supply chain is listening, because two [of four] buttons have already fallen off after less than two months' wear, and a third is hanging loosely and will go any day. Quality control!!! I shouldn't have to finish sewing any garment at home!

beautiful well made

Tag says original price over $300. I believe that. I have been searching for a plus size wool coat well fitting and beautifully tailored. This is it.

Terrible shipping

Bought this because had same coat several years ago and was Extremely pleased. This one arrived in plastic bag partially opened and so dirty opened it in garage. Coat was so wrinkled that after hanging in bathroom for 2 weeks had to have professionally steamed. Coat is fine, but wouldn't buy again because of packaging.

Very Good Quality

This coat is beautifully made and the fabrics are high quality. My only issue was fit. The sleeves were too long and wide but I had them tailored and the coat fits perfectly now. Even with the added cost of the tailor, this coat was well worth the investment.

Very with it!

Lovely quality and the fit is great, nicely shaped at the waist but not tight. I often buy a size 12 in coats to have room for a sweater but I bought a size 10 in this one and it fits well. Might be a bit snug for a bulky sweater but definitely room for a cashmere layer underneath. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is one of the buttons was placed out of alignment and I'll have to fix it. Otherwise 5 stars!

Thin fabric, but very nice overall

Nice coat. Not fantastic and prob won't last more than a couple years, but I guess thats about what you get for $150 these days. The red is lovely - like a garnet burgundy/red. I would have given 5 stars had the material been thicker. The material content is 68% wool and they're obviously selling to people afraid of pilling and looking for less poly/acrylic. In exchange for the higher wool content, you get a much thinner fabric. I can see that it won't wear well at the cuffs, but I'm so happy with the colour and fit, I'm giving it 4 stars. 5'4" 115lbs, got a small (petite).
