They don’t make it easy to like these chairs

These are really sharp looking chairs. We bought four to put poolside and they look as good as they do in the photos. I wish the structure had a bit more substance because I don’t think I’d sit on one without a cushion to distribute the weight . The website stated the weight limit of 300 pounds but the instructions said 220. Naturally one of the first people to sit in one of them was very large but the chair was just fine. Each chair comes with a pair of off-white pillows, one seating cushion and one lumbar, but the lumbar cushion is really awkward. However it does make a nice head pillow when leaning back. The pillows are actually lightweight but very firm and water beads right off, unexpected for such an inexpensive chair. I don’t know how long they will last but they’ve been sitting outside in direct hot sun and through several strong storms for several weeks now and they seem no worse for wear. I actually like to assemble things so i rarely mind it when assembly is required. However assembling these four chairs was an absolutely awful experience. Each chair had a different issue that we eventually worked out, although there were many times when we were very close to trashing the whole project. We were originally going to get six but started with four and I think that’s it because we don’t want to go through assembling any more of these again.

Overall nice chairs but back pillows are too small

After assembling these chairs they are pretty sturdy. Low to the ground but that is the nature of adirondack chairs. Our only issue (and its not a major one) is that they send these with a small back pillow. We probably knew that when we ordered it based on the pictures but one of those things that you just dont understand until you use it. Also the seat cushions on this line of patio furniture are pretty thin so not very comfortable. Will probably end up buying different cushions or sewing up our own.

Comfy chair, hard cushion.

The chair itself is very comfortable. I will say the cushion is hard as a brick. It was also shoved inside the bottom of the chair for shipping and one of the corners is all crunched up. As of now I can’t get it to uncrunch. It was pretty easy to put together, I put it together by myself. I did have to take a lot of nails or staples or some thing out from inside the back of the chair?! I don’t know how they got in there but there were a whole bunch of them so just check yours in case. I can’t figure out how to post a picture to show you.

A Struggle

Not that easy to put together, at least for one person. Requires quite a bit of leverage to get the pieces aligned and affixed. The seat cushion is also quite hard and the back cushion awkwardly shaped for the the way the chair is laid out—so I’m not sure it was worth all the effort.

Beautiful chairs

I bought two of them and so happy I did. They are sturdy and had no problem putting them together. I live in Florida and will update my review by the end of the summer. I hope they withstand the Floida heat. Only time will tell.

Outstanding Chair!!!

My wife found these chairs here on Amazon and we purchased 4 of them. Then I read the product reviews and got really nervous about the assembly after reading so many folks having some difficulty with that. They arrived a few days later and to my delight, they were an absolute breeze to put together. If you simply take your time and use your head it couldn't be any easier. I'm an engineer by trade, but this was not rocket science. They are super solid and comfortable and look amazing at our firepit. Highly recommend!
