Perfect for active people

Bought one from a ski shop long time ago. Wife got one 2 years ago. Could not find mine and just ordered another from Amazon and glad that they still make it. It is thin and perfect to block out the cold while snowboarding or cycling in the cold without overheating which is what I was looking for in a product. Ear flaps fold back to expose the face to make it cooler when needed. I have heavier fleece type from Patagonia and Assos and use them very seldom when super cold below 20 F. This one is perfect on the slopes and the bike for 20-35F cloudy days.

Great to wear under helmets!

Thin AND warm! Great for use under helmets, without interfering with the fit of the helmet.

Thin but Good

Be aware this is made of a very thin material and helps a lot in cold weather as a layer, but not on it's own---its like putting on an extra baselayer under your jacket. Ultimately it helped a lot while in -10 to 0 degree Fahreinheit weather in Quebec Canada for a week. I'm a 7 3/8 inch cap size and this fit nicely.

Nice for cold weather...

Has a good tight fitment to keep it from moving around, so you are not adjusting it constantly. Does provide a good source of protection from cold air, blocks wind better than I expected. Has my recommendation.

It's a miss

I usually really like Terramar stuff, but not this. It's super thin, this is not for truly cold weather. It has holes in the neck...why? Really weird to have holes in a winter balaclava. The neck is really short, it will not stay within a jacket and will leave an exposed strip of skin as it untucks. Look elsewhere for your balaclava needs.

Warm, comfortable and Stylish

This is a great, thin, breathable barrier to the cold winds of Chicago (although additional ear warmers are a must), is easily adjustable for full or partial face coverage, and it doesn't make you look like a bank robber (more like a ninja). Machine washable. Highly recommended. Think its overpriced but thats par for the course when it comes to these--there are certainly more expensive ones, so it's guess its relatively cheap.

Not at all as pictured. Front neck line is too short.

I should have read more of the reviews. This item is too short in the neck line and VERY thin.
