Someone else tried first
Love the color, comfort, & fit. But someone else definitely tried them on before they were sent to me...

Well made slippers
Quality is great. I would strongly advise ordering them a size bigger, as they definitely run smaller. I would have returned mine for a larger size but the bag it was shipped in got thrown out before I tried them on.

Run small
I bought these slippers for my mother because I thought they would stay on her feet but they were way to small, couldn't even get them on her feet. I kept them for myself because I really like them, I normally wear an 8 1/2 and ordered the 9 which just fit.

Fits as expected
This pair of isotoner Zenz Womens Slippers, Lightweight Hatch Knit Slip-On is a bit pricey at $44, especially since the shoes feel like they are made more for in home use rather than outdoor. They are therefore pretty expensive at $44, whereas the souls are not exactly rubber anti-slip. I do like healthy socks grip on top, so that the shoes don't feel like they can easily slip out.

fits my extra wide feet (hereditary bunions both sides), slips right on. Little traction
Odd shoes? slippers? shippers? haha I wasn't so sure about these at first, but I have been wearing them for days on end, so apparently, I like them well enough. Good and bad, so let me start with the bad: 1. lack of traction. These have very minimal traction/grooves. What is there feels smooth. Kind of like crocks but with a more slick underside. I can slide across my floors as though I was wearing just socks. I figured with some wear, that the soles may rough up a bit and not be as smooth. I have not slipped in these, but I would not bank of these offering good traction beyond a basic house slipper. I have not fallen, so I guess not all bad. Ok, onto the "good". Your experience may vary (and by some of the reviews, this is true) 1. slips on*, no fuss. I dont need my fingers to get these in place 2. has some stretch all around 3. more generous in size than anticipated (description says they run snug). 4. fits my extra extra wide feet (hereditary bunions both side of both feet) 5. can wear with socks or without 6. mild support, mild cushioning 7. super lightweight. 8. machine washable 9. wear as slippers, or as shoes, really an anytime shoe. 10. small band at top of shoes (before turning into hatch knit) adds protection to toes (bumping, wet grass, etc) SIZING. My feet are size 10/10.5 WIDE width. I often buy size 11 because the length is not all that different and usually my wide feet will be accommodated. I was a tad concerned when I read that these run snug. I went with the 11 anyway. THEY FIT. I put them on, and I could tell that my toes about reached the end of the shoes so I figured these were closer to 10.5 than 11. So yes, I would size up if you are half size, or simply want a little more wiggle room. Also, they loosen up over a few hours/days. I forget, I dont think I have taken them off in like a week, lol. The opening is wide, and makes these fit a little loose, sloppy. Makes it feel more like a slipper. Also, makes it look more like a slipper. It is not a snug sock feel, it kinda sits loose. It leaves some gapping (and I dont have skinny ankles). The PRODUCT PICTURES actually shows this- just look for the pics, so I wont down rate because of this. These really do look exactly like the pictures. Also this is helpful for getting on and off real quick without struggle (*I say that I can slip them on, though because they arent 100% open in the back, there may be ever so slight adjustment; depends on your dexterity. For the most part, I can slip my feet in and then just lightly finger any material that I am stepping on. AND if need be, they could be worn with the heels smashed down like a open back slipper since material is so light and flexible. Hope that makes sense?!). AND if you (like me) suffer from edema (venous insufficiency) these will accommodate the fluctuations. These shoes are weird to me, but yet I keep wearing them. I like them. So far makes a nice house shoe. Not for me for rainy weather, snowy weather, likely not for hot summer weather. But cool weather, dry weather.. sure!

Comfortable, sized right to me, but over-priced!
I know the isotoner brand quite well over the decades, but the Zen’s fall a little bit short on quality for cost on these particular slipper/shoes. I like them quite a bit for in-home use, but they wouldn’t last long in the real world between staining of the fabric, unless you purchase black, and staining of the white platform. The bottoms don’t seem as durable as true, every day shoes. They definitely are the lightest weight of any shoes I’ve ever owned, but they seem to be built more for in-home use, and maybe going out to grab the mail. I also think the cost is high. I know the brand is not a no-name one, so you do pay for that.. which usually (but not always) comes with enhanced quality, and for many of us, a household name is worth the extra loot… but these Zen’s just don’t feel worth the high price tag to me. At 1/2 the price I feel it would be a fine value. Maybe 35-40% off of the going rate even would be good. Full price? Not for me. They are comfortable, but have no arch support, so for some, long-term wear may not prove as comfortable as they’d like nor expect. They fit very well though, in most ways. They definitely do not irritate my hammer toes and bunions, so that’s a big positive to me. They aren’t tight, narrow, or aggravating to such foot problems as have i, BUT I can see them through the shoe too, so that’s not the most attractive look when out and about, but as far as it aggravating existing foot woes such as those? NO.. not at all, which I really like, but they do show through the fabric. To me, the longevity of these shoes are most in question to me. Again, at a lower price point, I’d be more forgiving. I like them for in home wear.. outside, not so much. I’m a size 8, and the 8 fits perfectly with enough room for a sock, so no need to size up. Some claim they run small, but not in my particular case they do not. I like them, but I don’t LOVE them, due to the cost, cosmetics (showing my foot issues through the material. That only matters outside), BUT they may shock me and stand the test of time. We shall see. They definitely help my back by being soooo light-weight. That I like. They are cute, but not outstanding. They say machine washable, but I’d be wary of that. These slipper shoes are OK, but no, I would not pay full price for them, in all honesty. Cute, but not worth the money to me. Just OK! 3 stars =‘s an average, ‘ok’ rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I hope that my review has been helpful to you :).
