Love the wedge heel

Have used Daniel green slippers for many many years…very comfortable and appealing design. You have to be careful when ordering on line as it is hard to predict how their sizes will run..my last pair was too big

Leather slippers

The slippers are fine but being leather they tend to be tight in instep. I know from experience they will stretch

order at least one size larger

i am a standard US size 7.5, rarely ever bigger. the first pair i ordered was 7.5, seemed like it would be long enough, but apparently i have ugly stepsister feet, as i could not get it on much past my toes. so i thought ok, i'll get a 7.5 wide. same problem. slid slightly more into them, but not so much as i would claim that the "wide" was in fact any wider than the regular fit. so now i have two pairs to return. i will reorder both an 8 and and 8 wide, with hope in my heart. they seem to be be well made. the leather is soft, well sewn, lightly padded, decent arch, exactly what i was wanting. if you have particularly slim feet, you can probably order your usual size, or maybe a half size up.

the size run small

The size was too small, my wife wears a 8.5 but it's too small. We have to return the slipper for a size 9.5

I'm so disappointed..........Not what I remember...........Absolutely Tragic!

So I read most of the reviews.......not all.........but most.........and I am still disappointed. Everyone said they run narrow and short???? My pair didn't! I am a true size 8 - regular width and I am embarrassed to admit, I have a bunion on my left foot too because I'm too scared to have surgery. So what did I do? I listened to everyone and ordered one size up and in wide width. Well hell to the NO! What did I get? I got a true size 9 - wide width pair of gold Clod Hoppers! WTH! My husband already thinks I'm nuts because I wanted a pair of slippers like my granny wore...you know....the ones we all used to walk around in as a kid and go clickity clack on the wood floors. That's not what I got...I got giant gold clod hoppers that don't go clickity clack on my wood floors. And mine also came with a big ol scuff mark on them. So ladies here's the truth.. I'm 5'5 - 175lbs - true size 8 foot in a boot, sandal, slipper, shoe. My feet are just plain old average like me. Get your true size if you have average width feet. If you have pudgie feet, you might want to go with a wide width but I'm thinking these things will stretch out. Don't expect to wear these everywhere you go. They are not made for that so put your flip flops back on. These are made for us to shuffle around the house just like our grandmothers do or in my case did.

Still the same excellent slipper.

Kidskin leather upper with small wedge. Perfectly comfortable. Hard to find sizes for myself of 11.5 or 12 AA. I purchase 2 pair at a time to ensure I have a back-up pair. Bought them in nubuck & black. Considering ordering another jumbuck colour since they are on sale. ONE DISAPPOINTMENT though.....There is remnant glue on the inside of the shoe in both pair. Will contact Daniel Green HQ as I've been wearing their slippers for years without defect. GOOD BUY & GOOD COMPANY,!!!

Mule style slipper

I have been looking for this style of slipper for a number of years now. But, never able to find it in a regular shoe department or store. I love that they are easy to slip on and stylish to wear around the house or to wear when visiting friends. They are well made and provide good support. I did find them smaller than expected and had to return a pair for replacement in a slightly larger size. Very happy with my purchase. I am usually an 8.5 and ordered that size in N fitting. Replacement in 9R still a bit snug but hopefully will stretch a bit with wear.

Smaller than normal Canadian size

I normally take a 7.5 medium. I returned both 7.5 and 8. I am keeping 8.5 because the length is better, it is nice leather and I am hoping with wear it will expand a bit. Good quality but smaller than usual fit.

great quality and style but runs small

bought these for the hospital as post delivery slippers. i have a narrow slim foot and usually wear a size 7.5 - 8. i originally purchased the 8.5 wide as per the review comments that these run narrow and small. the 8.5 wide were ok in width (although still quite narrow - they are definitely not a WIDE slipper - they hugged my foot) but the 8.5 were a touch short - the back of my foot was too close to the back of the slipper pad. so i switched for the 9 wide and they fit PERFECTLY. definitely go up 1-1.5 sizes for these (no kidding) and go with the wide even if your feet are slim and narrow. the wide do not gape or look sloppy - they hug the foot properly without feeling tight (with or without a sock). it's a slipper after all!

I love these slippers! I ordered one size up and they fit like a glove!

They're elegant and literally go with everything. I ordered a size 9.5 (wide) but I'm usually an 8.5 (regular) and they fit like a glove. They get more and more comfortable every day. My feet are on the narrow side but I have bunions yet they still fit extremely well. I highly recommend ordering the 'wide' version and one size up.

Comfortable and classic!

Overall the product delivers as outlined in the information. My only concern is the fabric lining on the top of the inside as had hoped for leather there as well. Otherwise have enjoyed the slippers!
