Good Sweatpants, But 3XL Might Really Be 3XL-T?

If you're a shorter, big individual like me, you'll probably find the legs to be too long. I'm 5'7" with a 30" inseam. I needed the 3XL due to my weight. These sweatpant legs are a good 3" too long for me. Luckily, my wife is an excellent seamstress, with a machine capable of doing the appropriate type of stitch for re-hemming them. They probably should be sized as 3XL-T (tall), due to the very long inseams. They're a lighter weight, but that's what I wanted for the warmer months of the year. They appear to be well constructed. That's something I expect from Hanes. I own several heavier-weight sweatpants made by Hanes, and they all have stood the test of time. Overall, I'm quite pleased with these Hanes sweatpants, though my seamstress wife may not be!

Too THICK, for Louisiana winters and long

Ok, they are $15, so to me that is cheap, and they feel pretty cheap, but they are 100% cotton. I will wear them in December and January (I live in Louisiana)...they are NOT sweat pants, they are LOUNGE pants. I will wear them to shop or maybe a matinee, (I managed fancy mens clothing stores for 42 years, back then I would not wear these out in public, but the beauty of being in your 60s is YOU DON'T CARE what other's think, as long as your old wrinkly body is well covered, ????????) but mostly they are for lounging around the house. Now THE LENGTH, unless your inseam is 36 inches (so 6 ft 8) you will need to take these to the tailor shop and pay $12 to shorten them. I ordered 6 different pairs of different "yoga pants" and these were the thinnest I could find in December, so I had them hemmed. THEN I found a cotton linen pair on Amazon and they are more what I wanted. They will DEFINITELY be worn out to concerts, shopping eating out., shirt out. They will wrinkle, but, something most people don't seem to realize, LINEN IS SUPPOSED TO WRINKLE, don't fight it, if you press lines it gets shinny, it's like trying to "flatten" seersucker, it's not supposed to be pressed flat, linen and seersucker is supposed to be textured, embrace it, or don't buy it. Stepping down from my soap box, if you want some very casual pants, loose fitting thinner than sweatpants for lounging or quick trips these are good, just tack on $12 for hemming, unless you can sew!

They are one length fits all, I had to cut them to length

They are just the right weight material and fit per the table, except the length, I tried to bunch them up at the ankle. They just dragged on the floor and would hang up in my shoes. It cut them to my length, and just let the fabric hold its own in the wash (no hemming). So far, so good. I needed some light weight sweat pants for around the house. I will probably buy a second pair.

Extremely nice but WAY too long!

Know what you're getting into. These pants are extremely comfortable and fit really nicely. They are excellent in every way other than that they are entirely, bizarrely, way too long (and I'm 6'0"). I liked them enough that I bought a couple of extra pairs for the price point but I am also looking into learning how to hem them myself because I don't feel comfortable even walking on a treadmill. Be prepared to do the extra work.

Love these pants but....

I love these pants but they don't hold their color very well. After just a few washings, they start fading. I buy them for my special needs brother that struggles with buttons and zippers and they are a bit long but that's easily fixed with some hemming tape that I iron on. Other than the fading issue, I think they are perfect!

Lite weight legs a little long

Material light weight legs about 2" too long I usually take a 30" inseam. They are nice tho

The pants are nice. I wish it had a zipper pocket because my key fob fell out while I was so sit-ups. The inseam was a bit long but not terrible (if you are tall)… I still would recommend these pants

A good looking and comfortable pair of pants.

Recently I noticed some of my long pants were wearing out and I decided to go online and check out the products on Amazon. I came across this Hanes Men’s X-Temp pocket black pants, 3X large for a good price and I purchased them. I was very impressed with the quick delivery service and was exactly what I was looking for casual wear. They are comfortable and fit okay. Nice material. Good to have pockets

I like that these have pockets, a drawstring waist, and are very comfortable. They fit well around the waist but for some reason the legs are very long. I ordered a Medium (34-36) and the inseam turned out to be 36 inches. Quite long for a medium waist pant in my opinion. Had to cut almost 6 inches off the legs and hem them.

These fit and wash well but surprisingly even after several washes they have not softened as I expected from !00% cotton

Versatile, Comfortable 100% Cotton Knit Pants

These fit a little big if you try them on straight out of the package, but they shrink slightly the first time you wash them, then they're more like the size they're supposed to be. So just take note if you find them looser than expected. I love these pants. My favourite feature is the closed-loop drawstring that won't get lost in the waistband. They're really heavy cotton knit and nice and warm, and quite comfortable. Very versatile pants, they don't have a fly so they can be worn as regular casual pants, probably great for the gym or yoga - but they're also soft and stretchy enough that they can be worn as sleep pants. Really love these, the price was perfect and these are just what I was looking for in a pair of casual/lounge pants. Another awesome Hanes product - I highly recommend these.
