I sized up because I like my clothes baggy and they fit perfectly. Functional drawstring and good stretch are a plus too.

Heavy material, but nice length for shorties like me.

This JMS capri is very comfortable with the exception of the waistband, which tends to roll down. The string is too loose inside the waistband, which also contributes to the rolling; however, I have never liked the string features in pants anyway. The fabric is well made but too heavy for the summer months in the South. The fabric also shrinks a little upon the first wash and loses shape while wearing. This is to be expected, however, since it is a more casual pant. Just a suggestion to JMS: sack the string and make the waistband wide and make it midrise. To be brutally honest, plus-size women tend to have "fat rolls" in the waist area that cause most waistbands to "fold over", which is very uncomfortable. And because many women are also short, high-waisted pants make them look ridiculous. Also, we need more plus-size PETITE clothing. I can't speak for others, but I am really tired of having to buy long-sleeved blouses and tees that are way too long for my arms and torso. And why do manufacturers think that all plus-size women like only tunics? And how are we supposed to get a good idea how we are going to look in something with all these skinny models? They're not supposed to be there to "look pretty" for us; they're supposed to be there to show us how an item will look on us. That sends a message to us saying that plus-size models would "hurt" a company's image, even though they sell "plus-size" clothing. A little hypocrisy there or fat-shaming much? Most of us don't want to be plus-size, but we are, and we need clothing that fits and models that tell us the real story of how it will fit. Do the sellers really like the expense of having us return clothing all the time because we have a hard time telling what it will look like on us? Even Walmart now has a feature where you can "pick your model" that is actually very handy, though not yet for every item. As far as this capri goes, though, it's a decent product if you like the strings and don't mind the band rolling.

Comfy!

These are comfy, a little bit overpriced imo. But they look pretty good and do what I bought them for - be comfy and breathable. The material isn't quite as soft as I would hope, for 5 stars these pants would need to be cheaper or softer. But a solid 4 stars and they fit with lots of room for lounging and movement.

Fabric not particularly comfy

I bought this in an attempt to replace a few pairs of similar capris that I bought at Penningtons years ago, and which Penningtons no longer make. I usually wear a 2x or 3x at Penningtons, but because my waist is very large in proportion to the rest of me, I sized up to a 4x in these to be safe, as I prefer a very loose fit and I hate the feeling of anything pulling on my waist. The fit was very roomy in both the waist and the legs. I definitely could have gone down to a 3x and still been pretty comfy. I MIGHT even have been to go to a 2x IF I had wanted something much more form-fitting. I haven’t washed them yet, so I can’t speak to their durability, but I do agree with what another reviewer said: the fabric is NOT particularly comfy. I’m not really sure what “Terry” really means, but the fabric in these is nowhere near as comfy as the fabric in the now obsolete pair from Penningtons that I was trying to duplicate. It isn’t extremely itchy, but it is a noticeable feeling that I find a bit scratchy. I’m hoping I’ll get used to it, and for the price (especially in the limited plus size market!), I wasn’t expecting perfection. Overall a little disappointed in the feel, but fit nd price were perfect.

Great fit and good quality

Bought these for my mother and she couldn’t be happier, loves the pockets as most capris don’t have. Very comfortable and go just below the knees, we’re big people so it’s not easy to find great fitting comfortable clothing. She’s 5’11” and about 325-350 and the 4XL are a very comfortable fit.

Fits perfectly, very comfortable & like it very much!

I used the size chart that the item page had & it was perfect & I was able to get the right size & fit for my body. I was worried that it might bunch in between the legs (it doesn't) & that it might not be good quality, (it is). It also is not sheer, it's a nice cotton, with a bit of stretch woven it to be comfortable. It goes down below my knees & overall I am very satisfied with this item. When I lose more weight, I'll be buying more!
