Propper lithos
I bought these pants cause the Kuhl brand were too expensive. They look and feel great. I wear these on and off the range.

Propper Kuhl's
I've worn Kuhl's for years, but their quality has declined substantively. To the point that with less than a year of use, I have a pair of pants that have worn trough in the seat. I still like the fit though. I stumbled upon these while shopping for my preferred Kuhl Rydr's. Are they identical? See for yourself. They seem identical down to the stitch. The only differences I could find are the following. The center rear belt loop is different, but the belt loop positions are the same. The stitch on the rear pockets are angled on the Kuhl's and straight across on the Propper's. The rivets in the Propper's are of lesser quality than those of the Kuhl's, however the snap for the pants is higher quality on the Propper's, which is arguably the more important component. I've returned several pairs of Kuhl's because their buttons wouldn't stay snapped. I don't think that'll be a problem with these Propper's. The Propper's pockets are double stitched, while the Kuhl's are single stitched. The material weight of the Kuhl's is slightly heavier. I think the Kuhl's are 98% cotton, vice the Propper's 97% cotton, so that might influence the weight, I think the Kulh's material is probably more rugged, but my personal experience hasn't borne that out. We'll see how these Propper's hold up. I'd expected to find that these were both made in China, figuring that on Tuesday's a Chinese child laborer attached a Kuhl brand tag, and on Wednesday's they attached a Propper brand tag. To my surprise the Kuhl's are manufactured in Vietnam, while the Propper's are manufactured in Egypt. The Propper's do feel slightly larger than my Kuhl's, but my Kuhl's have been washed numerous times and may have shrunk slightly. We'll have to see how the Propper's fit after I wash them. For the $40 price difference, I'm inclined to stick with the Propper's.

similar to kuhl brand but NOT the Rydr
These pants are similar to Kuhl pants, but the fit is much slimmer. The material is not as smooth and the fabric has some stretch. I'm not a fan of the inner button flap. These are not like the Kuhl Rydr, but more like the Radikl. Will go back to the Kuhl Rydr pants even though they cost more.

Great Pants, great price and my new faves
These are copies of the Kuhl Easy Rydr pants that are about 1/2 the cost. The specs are very similar to the Kuhl pants in several ways. 97% cotton/ 3% Spandex. Articulated knees, reinforced pocket eddges & riveted pocket corners. Left leg cell phone pocket, crotch gussett, extra fabric on the heel portion of the leg cuff.I really like the softer material that lines the inside of the waistline. I find these a bit different in fit than the Kuhl pants especially in the hip, butt and thigh area. I much more prefer these as they just seem to hang better than the Kuhl pants I have owned. The fit is great for average built guys with a slightly relaxed leg and lower legs that fit over mid sized hiking boot tops (These are NOT skinny jeans). The pants sit on the hips and have comfortable range of motion due to the cut and the spandex in the fabric. The sizing to me is great. I normally wear a 32x32 (5'10", 190lbs) and I ordered the same size. The fabric is a bit softer than the Kuhl pants and the color dying is similar. I plan to update this as I wear them more as fall weather closes in. So far I think these are amazing pants and have actually purchased 2 pairs!!

Leg opening tight
Loved everything about these except the very narrow leg opening. They won't even cover a basic low top hiking shoe. It's a deal breaker for me.

Kuhl Pants with a Kuhler Price
I’m a huge fan of the Kuhl Ryder pants, and own multiple pairs. All of which, have been put through the wringer. They’ve all summitted multiple mountains, and slid down ice, rock, and lots of chaparral bushes. I wore one of my multiple Kuhl pants nearly every single day for a year at one point. So imagine how delighted I was when I stumbled across these bad boys. Essentially a replica of the Rydr pants, except $30 cheaper and my size finally wasn’t sold out (I’m always wearing high waters Kuhl pants because they’re out of 34L all the time) I still have a very strong brand loyalty to Kuhl for being the sickest pants brand around, but if someone else is making the same product for cheaper... it’s tough to beat boys. The snap on the pants also stays latched unlike on my Kuhl pants (only complaint against them besides price)

Not bad, not great.
What can I say. Not horrible, but not great. The pants are like a 2 day old piece of delivered pizza. I’m 6’1”, 185 lbs. pants usually fit best in the 34x34 range. I ordered 34x34. 2 washes later and the inseam reduced by an inch. The rise of the pants is kind of shallow as well. Makes it pretty tight around my man bits. I could order the 34x36, but the rise would likely remain the same. I would suspect in a few more washes they’ll fit more like a 34x32. I’ve owned many pairs of kuhls, and they are pretty similar. Oh well, I’ll wear them a while longer until they turn into high waters.

Super !
