Love the adjustable waist

These pants look very nice, they’re lightweight, not very stretchy. My daughter is smaller than other kids her age and the pants look a little loose on her. The adjustable waist is a great feature. They’re not very practical, since not all kids between ages 3-5 are able to fasten the belt and pants with a flat hook without assistance. So I’m not sure my daughter is ready to wear these to school yet.

There's no stretch up so size up if you're unsure

These pants are made with a sturdy cotton twill that should hold up to playground wear and tear. It’s thick enough to keep a child warm, but not so heavy that it will restrict their movement. The fabric’s surface also feels a little softer than similar uniform-use fabrics I’ve seen at stores. The closure is more complex than a toddler can manage on their own, but for older children in larger sizes, it will be very nice. There isn’t very much stretch to the fabric, so I recommend buying up a size if you have a heavier child. Our daughter is tall for her age, with an average waist and fairly slim legs, so the pants have a loose fit compared to the leggings we usually dress her in but are not bulky or oversized. The belt is a grosgrain ribbon with two metal rings looped on one end; it’s decorative and cute, but our active child will destroy it after wearing it only a few times so I don’t think we will use it.

Good material

Gymboree clothing always have had good material to their clothes, hence the price. These pants are no different. Can be used as uniform or outside of school to pair pretty much with any top when you don’t want your kid to wear jeans or leggings all the time. My daughter is pretty small for her age so I usually have to get exactly her size or one size smaller. True to size most of the time.

Nice

Gymboree is a good brand for kids products. Always good quality, and these pants are no exception. In perfect condition and true to size. Would make a great addition to your child's wardrobe.

Very nice khaki pants; fastener may be a problem in the T sizes

These are great khaki slacks for little girls. The fabric has slight stretch—that makes the legs very comfortable for the active child. The belt fastens with D-rings and the waist of the pants with a flat hook (see photo). These work fabulous for girls, but in the toddler sizes (which I ordered), both fasteners could require a parent’s help. These fit regular and slim girls great—the waist can be taken up via elastic and buttons hidden inside the waist band. However there is no real way to make them bigger, so if you have a chunky toddler, these may not be your best bet. Four stars for the toddler size because the fasteners can be difficult, but otherwise these are great pants!

Good fit, not as soft as I expected.

The material is sturdy and not as soft as I expected. They may soften with washing, we’ll find out. They do have great deep pockets. The zipper runs smoothly with no snagging which is great for her.

Cute pants.

I've been pretty harsh with Gymboree's sizing in the past. Though that still remains true, I'm happy with these pants, they are cute and the bow gives it a nice not so basic touch. They are comfortable as well. However important to remember that the material doesn't have a stretch to it so if your child is bigger it'll be good to size up.

Nice School Pants

I ordered these pants for my kindergartener. She normally wears size 6 Slim, so I was expecting these to be a little big in the waist. They actually fit her fairly well. They are a tad big but not so much that they slip down or anything. They work perfectly for her school uniform. They came with a little black ribbon belt but we don't really use that since I'm not sure about whether it will comply with the school dress code. Also, I'm worried that my daughter might not remember how to get it on/off when she's on her own at school. It is cute, though, & maybe something we will try to use later on if she hasn't outgrown it.
