Best summer shorts and pants I've found
I have shorts and pants. Been wearing a few yrs.. not the same pairs but this specific item. Not the most durable but actually are better than you would think. The net pockets are great, open the zippers and get some airflow. Plenty of storage. Delightfully stretchy, great fit, not too baggy , for nice in the butt my wife says lol. But also don't look ...weird. I've done everything from apex , fjallraven to Magellan. These are it . I'm a beer delivery driver , do alot of lifting, alot of running around. True to size

Really like these shorts/pants
Likes: I really, really like this fabric. It is lightweight, breathable, quick drying, and has a surprising anount of stretch and give to it. Only time will tell as to sturdiness, abrasion and stain resistance, etc. I The front pockets have inner solid fabric pockets behind the front mesh pockets, which keeps pointy things like keys and pens from getting snagged and tangled in the mesh. The thigh pockets likewise have a mesh pocket under the zipper and a solid fabric pocket under the velcro. You can keep things seure in the velcro pocket and still undo the zippers for a little extra heat venting. The belt loops are wide enough to take even a 2" pistol belt. You could pay a lot more, but you wouldn't get much more for your money. Dislikes: Nothing significant. Can anyone explain what the middle pocket in the center of the back just under the beltline is supposed to be for, please? Really, I'd like to read what others think. I bought one pair of these in pants length. I liked it enough to go buy two pair in shorts and three more pairs in pants.

Good pants for outdoors
The pockets for me are not ideal. It's hard to describe, but the placement and how things sit in the pockets, the pockets in a pocket, things just feel "off". I would ideally change that a bit. However, overall, great shorts. Lightweight, seems durable, good in the heat, etc.

These are my favorite shorts. I have 6 pair and have put all other shorts in a box under my bed. I have no problem with the sizing. I really appreciate the fact that they are not baggy or sloppy looking. Have had a couple pair for well over a year, wear them 10 months of the year, and have had no quality issues. My only dislike is that my t-shirt gets caught on the Velcro tab on the back pocket. Propper has added a zipper instead, on the newest version of these shorts. UPDATE 7/22/17. The seller needs to update the photos for these shorts. I ordered another pair on 719/17 expecting to get the older version of these shorts, as pictured, but received the newer version which I do not like as well. I also wear a smaller size in the newer version so I will have to return these. As an FYI, the older version has slightly smaller cargo pockets ( fit an iPhone 7 plus perfectly), Velcro closure on rear pockets, and the fly button is sewn onto the shorts. The newer version has zippered rear pockets and the fly button is attached with a length of nylon webbing. The newer version also fits differently; I had to go down a size.

Not true to dize
The shorts are very lightweight. But the size is definitely larger then what I ordered. I ordered a size 48 shorts and it felt like I was wearing a size 50. Plus the button on the waist is attached to a elastic band which makes the waist feel even bigger. Going to return shorts.

Perfect
Not too short or too long. Come right to the center of the knee cap on me and I'm 6'2". I'm a 34" waist and 34 allows just enough room to carry a crossbreed with a p365 or p938 @ the 4 o'clock position. Love the Velcro pockets above the zippered pockets. Replacing all my shorts with these and now I gotta try their pants.

Great quality -- but I'd know more if I could exchange a wrong size for a correct one
Great quality shorts with great durability and more features (for less money too) vs. my favorite Hurley Phantom Hybrids, with little sacrifice in breathability or fit and finish. However when ordered, a size that fits in every other shorts I've bought, was too tight. Tried to return... but Amazon would not exchange it for another Summer Tac short, in a different size -- gave me a list of choices for exchange that included several items... but *not the shorts*? I looked at the listing for the Summer Tacs... and they were indeed in-stock, from the same vendor I ordered them from :| So, spent the forced refund on another pair of Hurley's, as I could actually get those delivered, on-time. C'mon Amazon -- buying 'The Expanse' didn't cost *this* much... did it? My goodness, what a string of disappointments I've received as Amazon service recently. :(

Iron pants
Great product for someone who wants indestructible pants. I wore my pair for 5days straight . Between dirty work, Mountain biking, and climbing. They did not once tear, split, or stain. They are easy to move in too. One thing to note is they will fit tight when you first get them. Squeeze them on by the end of the day you might need a belt

Lots of pockets, but beware of size variations.
These are my new favourite shorts, with 11 pockets! The deep front pockets have an internal divider, which is a game changer for me, allowing me to keep things better organized and prevent accidentally grabbing the wrong keys, or pulling out something I did not want along with the thing I did. Dual low-profile cargo pockets (velcro and zip on both sides) are also fantastic, plus two zipped rear pockets and a small pocket in the small of your back (not sure what I would use it for, but it's there if you need it). The material is light, stretchy, and durable, and they are very comfortable to wear. I could not be happier! EDIT: I ordered a second pair in the same size as the first, but they were significantly smaller. The first is large enough that I was considering a size down, but the second is small enough that I would consider a size up, despite both being marked the same size. EDIT2: the second pair - green, FWIW - developed significant scuffing where a shoulder bag rubbed for a few hours one day, so these are not very abrasion resistant.

Fantastic Shorts
Fitted as expected, that is I am 32" waist, that is the size I bought and they fit perfectly. Super comfortable fit with just a bit of elastic stretch. Eleven pockets, ones that should be deep are deep, most are gauze or part gauze. Very light in weight, they will really come into their own on hot sticky days. Great quality and workmanship too and attention to detail. Absolutely pleased to bits with them.
