I did upsize which was a good choice. The shorts fit my waist not too tight or loose. They have pockets and are very comfortable. Only downside is they have a strange cut in the leg, flaring out and then back in slightly. looks like riding britches. Frankly, I'm old, they fit, they are comfortable and no one is looking at me anyway! :) If I was seriously bothered I could drag out my sewing machine and fix it in minutes.

Sizing is great and cotton fabric perfect

Well made pockets are nice and roomy . Size are equal to other 3x's. The cotton fabric is knitted stretchy. I was cautious the first order with only one. Since the quality with affordable price I purchased four more later.

Yes, I live in the muggy midwest and in the summer the living ain't easy. Despite pleas from complete strangers "please don't", I'm going to wear shorts. These work! Comfy, retain their original shape after a spin in the washer and dryer. Go get 'em, big girl!

Comfy summer shorts

These shorts are great for a warm summer day. They don't "ride up" as you walk. The waist has just the right amount of elastic. Lots of leg room. Not too short.

I like these shorts and they work well with my physical therapy, I just wish that they had a drawstring in the waistband to cinch them up a but tighter. Otherwise, they're just fine.

Comfortable and cool, perfect for summer

They are comfortable but they are not anything more than a typical casual short. I will wear them to the store or running errands, but wouldn't wear them going out for dinner or anything more than casual. I find there's a lot of material in the back of the leg which looks kind of weird. The material sits right against the front of the leg, but I swear I could fit a second leg behind with the amount of excess material that there is, so they look like you have huge legs. I also find the thick waistband a little uncomfortable because it rolls, I really don't know why any plus-size clothing has a thick waistband just for that reason. But I wanted comfortable shorts for walking my dog or doing work outside or around the house, and these are perfect for that! They are lightweight, cool and comfortable and they have pockets - which for me was a must. I previously bought another pair of shorts that I love and are super comfortable but did not have pockets, so I searched for ones that did and found these. I ended up buying a second pair in Black because I like these so much! The black is 100% cotton while these ones are a mix of cotton and polyester, but I find that they feel and fit the same. Also fit true to size!

Brilliant

Don't normally leave reviews BUT these are a must ! I'm not a shorts kind of girl, as I've never liked getting my legs out , but turning 40 made me reconsider. I am 5" 8 and normally a size 14 / 16 pending where I get clothing from - These shorts are a perfect fit ( I ordered the 1X) very very comfortable for thos ladies who have generious hips and thighs. The length is perfect and the material is really really good quality. I love them ! I have the black pair and yesterday I ordered the navy ???? Would highly recommend ????

FINALLY comfy shorts for OLUS size gals!

I am a senior and plus size gal who has not worn a pair of short in MANY years mostly because they NEVER fit properly somewhere. Either they ride up in the crotch, are baggy in the back waste band ir just are too tight in the thighs, NOT THESE, seriously for a jersey short they are a good weight, they fit properly everywhere and they have pockets! The waist band is not too tight that it is cutting into you, they are perfect! Thank you Just My Size, they are exactly what I have been missing for a long time, summer is suddenly much cooler and more comfortable. I wear a 3x in the Just My Size capri and these are the same fit.... I did not go up or down any sizing. I originally bought tbe black, blue, grey and heather and now that I know I will not have to return any of them I have ordered seconds of everything this morning! AWESOME, very pleased!
