Not perfect, but what is?
First, the sizing shown on the Amazon website is different from the sizing shown on the product package. The package says that small is for dogs up to 15 lb with a 9-13 inch waist. Medium is 15-45, with a 13-21 inch waist. Large is for 45-90 lb dogs with a 21-30 inch waist and x-large is 90-120 lbs. with a 30-32 inch waist. On the product page on the Amazon website, the x-large is said to be for dogs 55 to 120 pounds and waist size of 22 to 40 inches. I have been buying the x-large for my dog who is about 50-55 pounds with a 28 inch waist. Maybe I should be buying the large, and the large might do a better job. Even so, I am happy with the product and have purchased four in all, all in the x-tra large. Bearing in mind that I might be buying the wrong size, and the correct size might do a better job, I still would recommend this product. This product essentially is a long denim rectangle with a flannel lining. It has elastic on the long ends and sturdy velcro strips on the short ends. There is a pad in the middle which is pretty leak-proof. If I had a complaint, it would be the size of this pad, which is about four inches by six for the x-tra large (guestimate-I didn't measure). You are supposed to place a disposable pad over this area. Based on the suggestions of other reviewers, I did not buy the pads that are recommended. Instead, I have been using the Tena Male Serenity Guards as recommended by another reviewer. I thank him/her for the suggestion. With the disposable pad or guard in place, the wrap is then placed around the dog and fastened with the velcro strips. Make sure you cover the appropriate area. With the x-tra large, it does bunch up and gather at both ends, but I have opted to remain with this size primarily because it does not appear to bind and make the dog uncomfortable. He doesn't LOVE wearing it, but he doesn't hate it, either, and I have never seen him try to take it off. I also clean his underside as needed. Sometimes, there has been a very significant leak which has shown up on my floor in rather long trails. This has only happened twice in a span of a month. However, I believe that I probably did not place the wrap correctly since the disposable guard itself was virtually unaffected. Usually, if the urination is moderate, there might be a little dampness by the edge. Sometimes, there is no leakage at all. If the urination is heavy, unfortunately, there might be a lot of dampness, but I have only been able to find the guards for "moderate" leakage, so it might not be the wrap that is the problem. Regardless, it beats the cleaning up I used to have to do. A little leak or dampness every now and then is a lot easier to clean than a trail several times a day. (My dog has Cushing's, a symptom of which is frequent urination.) The instructions say that it is machine washable but it should be hung dry. However, it takes a LONG time to dry because it is not made of thin materials. I ended up using the dryer, and so far, it's been fine. When it gets warmer, I will try hanging them and see how that works. The bottom line--is it perfect? No. Maybe some of my complaints would disappear if I bought the smaller size and it didn't have so much bunching (allowing for leaks), but I am very happy with this product. I still take the dog out, without the wrap, of course, very frequently, as I would rather not have him urinate on the pad. But his timing isn't always regular or compatible with my schedule, so honestly, it has been a real stress-reliever for me. I had resisted buying "doggie diapers" for months; now I wonder why I did. I was afraid my dog would be "humiliated," but he doesn't seem so.

Wrap has made a huge difference - now own four
We have used these wraps for about 5 months now with our elderly Springer Spaniel. They work extremely well, are easy to take off and on, and wash nicely in the wash machine. We use size 6 baby diapers safety- pinned into the wraps. Since our dog is no longer able to walk and is a large dog we supplement with human disposable underpads underneath in case we do not get him outside fast enough when he tells us. We also use a large human adjustable disposable brief which we pin on with diaper pins at night or if we have to leave him alone for a few hours. (We do not use the wrap at that time.) We buy all of these products by the case at a local warehouse to make caring for our dog affordable. Although no longer able to walk, these products have allowed him to be a happy member of the family for an extra few months at the end of his life. While we were getting this system in place we were not sure how long we would be able to manage his care. While he makes it outside most of the time these wraps and his diaper absorb most, if not all, of the urine when he has accidents. We use a rubberized grate outside for him to lay on and use the bathroom. This grate also works well for him to lay on over our double laundry sinks when we give him a butt bath from time to time now that he is no longer well enough to go to the groomers. This system keeps him clean, comfortable and dry. You can tell he enjoys the care and seems to understand the adaptations help him. A tip is to keep the wrap velcroed shut when washing so you do not get lint in the velcro. We either air dry or dry in the washing machine depending on the need. After using the initial wrap we have bought several more so we always have a clean one available. I would definitely recommend the wrap. It is much nicer than the ones I looked at in the store and was recommended to me by a friend. It is also much more reasonably price. A win win! These have been wonderful and have made huge difference in our being able to care for our elderly dog.

Lifesaver and works
Absolutely a fantastic product. My older Lurcher doesn’t hold his urine too well and seems to be incontinent .i place Tesco’s own sanitary towels inside which are really thick and this does the job well I even ordered another pair . I washed it by hand and put on radiator to dry . The Velcro is super strong and it stays on the dog well. I have a Lurcher and ordered a medium size which fits ok but I think the small would be a tighter fit. Update ... I have found over the last two years that buying Tesco’s baby nappy’s size 4 helps even more under these pants as they hold his dangly bits inside better without the urine coming through the edges . I still have the same pair of these pants which have been washed and dried many times . My home has been pee free for a long time now . So worth it ... Added pictures for u all to see.

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT PRODUCT - 5 STARS
I had tried so many disposable wraps for our old adorable and overweight Westie but none of them worked. The biggest problem is that within half an hour, the wrap would slip out of place: to the back of his legs and onto his tail which really really annoyed him!! This wrap is perfect : it's broader than others and the velcro on it has a strong grip. Being broader (wider) it sits comfortably across the dogs back and does not slip and slide at all! I have bought disposable baby nappies (they cost 9pence each) and slide one in (folded in half) and honestly, the 2 products combined work absolutely PERFECTLY!! He has a 25inch waist and I bought the Large - it fits him well and isn't too tight and he doesn't mind it being around his tummy at all!!! Easy to wash and dry, I have 2. PLEASE try this, it honestly is EXCELLENT :) Thank you for saving my dog's life ????

As good as any but still need to buy liners
These are the 3rd brand I’ve tried of these male wraps, they’re a good fit, the medium fits a pug comfortably (he isn’t a typical chubby pug though). The waistband has an elastic running inside to hold it close to the dog to prevent it slipping but I do worry this could rub over long periods so have been trying to keep it off as long as possible. Absorbency is ok. Honestly all the brands I’ve tried are okay for holding one or two small wees but you definitely need to use liners for much more than this. I was hoping I could find a more cost effective solution than disposables but it seems one way or another you end up paying, a slightly cheaper option to liners have been by using female sanitary pads or incontinence pads. We tried baby nappies as liners for a while but they weren’t a good fit as they hung out of the elastics. Overall they’re as good as any I’ve tried, the sizing is better on these than most but you will need some sort of liner. I’ve bought 3 at the moment to keep a spare whilst washing one and he’s wearing the other.

Saved my sanity
I have two 2 year old pugs who I bought grom different owners last year after they had been mistreated by previous owners , they are beautiful and loving little characters and are improving day by day, but have been severely affected by the treatment they received before I got them therefore the male suffers from anxiety when i leave the house without them and tends to go on a spraying spree cocking his leg up everything including the much smaller female when left alone, despite me having him neutered in an attempt to stop this behaviour and the constant circle of cleaning when i came back was tiring me out . Now i just pop a band on him before I leave and this behaviour has stopped altogether.

Sizing way out. Order larger than you need.
Bought for my little Chihuahua. Small is ridiculously small, it wouldn't have fitter at 3wks old so if you are looking for a Ferret belly band then this is the thing for you. The product says small Adult Dog so sort your sizing out manufacturer. I sewn 2 pieces of velcro on to a 7" piece of fabric and the product now has been extended to fit. The material is robust stiff cotton. The parcel was delivered in good time. The price is good...well assuming you get one that fits .
