Just like the "Swedish" cloths at a better price -- outstanding quality
These seem to be identical to the more-expensive famous "Swedish" cloths -- they're made in the same factory in Germany, as best I can tell. These If You Care cloths are a much better value than the Swedish cloths. They last through many launderings (I throw them in the dryer with my bath towels--I'm not gentle with these at all, and they still last a really long time). They will get stiff and curl slightly after washing, but they still stack in a drawer with something on top of them. They have nearly eliminated our need for paper towels in the kitchen because they're so absorbent (like a sponge). I've given packs of these to multiple family members, and everyone loves them. They're a fantastic gift-basket item for new home owners too.

Great paper towel alternative
We are trying to use less paper towels as the cost is through the roof and also trying to reduce our paper waste. These work great. We use one for kitchen counters and one for floor spills. Tough enough to take some scrubbing and easy to rinse out the dirt and resuse.

These are great!
I LOVE these towels! I have some in both the kitchen and bathroom. Given as gifts too!

Great sponges!
Will never purchase the sponges at the grocery store again! These have great absorption, they don't stain or smell bad either and can be washed and used again. Great product!

Far better than an "average" sponge
Update, September 8, 2019: It has been a few months and I'm still using my first three sponges (rotating them in and out of the weekly clothes wash. They are really great for the fact that they'll clean really well, and then rinse out almost everything they just cleaned (not like original sponges that always seem to look dirty. The pictures here are after I cleaned the inside of my oven after a burned on spill and how it looks after I washed it with my regular dishwashing soap (Palmolive). There's a tiny bit of a stain left but it comes out in the washing machine. It also cleans up the same after cleaning up blueberry or cherry pie filling. Original review: I REALLY (really) like these If You Care "sponges". They're more like they say, a cloth.... or like a washcloth, but much much better... enter the sponge part of it. They are very absorbant and hold more water than an average sponge (this sponge cloth=1/3 cup, average sponge=1/4 cup). I have never liked the feel of a wash "rag" either, so I wasn't sure how this would go. Well, the cleaning ability I was given was better than before. Because they have a much larger total surface area than an average household sponge, these cloths make doing dishes a lot quicker and easier (these measure 8x6.75 inches or 20x17cm and are about 54sq inch/340sq cm. The area of an average sponge is around 14.25sq inch/90sq cm-with a measurement of 4.75x3in/12x7.5cm. Basically, they're almost 4x's the size). I noticed this especially when washing glasses, because it pretty much encased the entire glass, both the interior and exterior. Then moving on to the plates, etc got easier even so. By far, the BEST PART (next to them being 100% natural and compostable) of these sponges is that they RINSE CLEAN SUPER EASILY!! I cannot stand picking up a dank, sour smelling sponge because a small bit of soap was left in it....icky! If this one is full of a large squirt of soap, I only need to wring it three, maybe four times and ABSOLUTELY ALL of the soap comes out. That alone will save water too.... total win/win/win so far! The package states that each cloth replaces 15 rolls of paper towels and can be machine washed up to 300 times. I haven't gotten that far yet, but definitely will update here as my first one wears down. Lastly, I always read reviews to learn from others how they like or dislike a product, and I love to help people myself (I was a nurse). I am also not compensated for my honesty. If my review has proven to be valuable to you please click so below. It helps me to know if I should keep on doing what I'm doing. Thanks everybody... and definitely get yourself some of these! This is one product that is a great buy on Amazon. *I almost forgot--- the plastic bag these come in can be recycled too. Add it to the other plastic bags whenever you take them in. If you google/search it, you'll find there are many items that can be added to the recycled grocery bags, even if you use your own (ie: the plastic used to mold different products to cardboard,so they can be displayed). Everything needs to be clean and dry though! You can also search/google for places, if needed

Great alternative to paper towels
Would recommend these if you want to cut down on your paper towel usage.

I LOVE these and so does my brat dog
These are freakin awesome! I still use papertowels when I need to absorb grease from food. But I use these cloths for everything else I would nornally have used for cleaning. The packaging indicates that the cloth and packaging itself are both compostable. It is a product of Germany so rest assured, it is NOT manufactured in China. I like to use these around the sink and line them in areas where there is a lot of water drippage, like under the faucet knob. Some of the cloths might have white streaks in them but it doesn't affect the absorbency at all. Its just the way the fibers were mixed during production. I've washed mine multiple times in the washer and they hold up well. The packaging does indicate that you should not put them in the dryer. I accidentally threw them in the dryer the 2nd time I washed them and they ended up shrinking. But even though they shrank, they were still useable and still absorbed liquid just fine. They are very absorbent and strong so they're a perfect replacement for papertowels for use on cleaning duties like scrubbing the stovetop or microwave (I use dishsoap and water). They don't disintegrate like a papertowel would, they don't leave behind bits of paper or lint, they dry quickly (but not flat) when you wring them out completely, they're much easier to wring out than a dishtowel, they rinse out any debris extremely easily, they're larger than the more expensive printed styles which brings me to my last point which is that they're cheap! At close to just 1 dollar and some change, they are significantly less expensive than the designer cute printed cloths advertised as Swedish Dish Clothes. I was gifted one a few yrs ago with a lovely gnome design on it. I didn't actually start using until recently and noticed that it was much smaller than the If You Care brand. The function is the same but seriously, there's no point in paying more for a cleaning cloth when you can get it cheaper. Plus, if you have a dog like mine, you might be replacing them every so often. My dog has nabbed two clothes so far because she's a brat and think its OK to use them as chew toys LOL I ordered 4 packs two months ago and I just ordered 3 more packs today since I like having a giant pile before I do kitchen laundry.

Great practical and eco product
Brilliant. This is my second purchase of these beauties. They are really absorbent, last ages, wash well coming up almost as new and then at the end of their life are compostable.

Excellent!
I bought a pack of these nearly a year ago & there are still 2 in the pack I haven't even used yet. The other 3 I just keep bunging in the wash, using them & then washing again. Really absorbant & have considerably reduced my need for paper towels. Oh, & even the packaging is compostable too!

Biodegradable cloths
I have bought these cloths for several years. They are extremely absorbent and can be washed in the washing machine many times. They arrived very promptly from the seller and I will certainly order from them again.

Delivered quickly. These 'sponges' are very absorbent, can be washed over & over again & I love the fact they are eco friendly & actually do what the manufacturers say.
