Pretty nice suit, closure is awful

I didn't love it as much as I hoped I would, but it's mostly a great suit. As other reviewers have noted, the closure in the back is the biggest con. I knocked a star for that. It's an actual hook and eye bra closure, which has no business on a bathing suit, in my opinion! It sits underneath the actual suit fabric. It makes the suit very hard to put on. I found the suit a little tight; my weight has fluctuated upwards so I sized up from my regular panache bra size and still felt like it was clingier than I'd prefer (but that's just preference). I'm a 32 band size but I'm about 30lbs overweight with a bit of a tummy so it's an odd mixture. Also, the cups are quite padded and shaped. I don't really like that in a bra or a bathing suit as I'm busty enough and they just make me feel hot and sweaty lol. However, the suit looks great and best of all it covers my boobs. Still partial to my beloved Freya brand swimsuits, but this is a very nice top.

Overall, pretty good

Overall, I am really happy with this bathing suit. I have such a hard time finding bathing suits. I've got a larger chest, but I am young. Unfortunately most bathing suit tops I find that cover me are not usually very stylish. I like the cut and style of this top. The built in bra is wonderful! This top COBE's me whole provising support so I don't feel self conscious when walking around in it. I took away one star because the material around the midsection is pretty thin. I wish it were a little thicker. Also, the straps don't stay on very well. The little loops on the suit that you hook the straps into were tearing off when I opened it. I was able to take one strap and make a halter out of it. Overall, good purchase. Wish I could find it in different colors and patterns.

Supportive, cute from the front, hard to put on.

Another reviewer mentioned that the bra strap in the back makes the back a bit lumpy, and that's true. (Assuming a lot of us buying this type of bra are curvy in a variety of ways.) The cups fit well, and it does stay up. It's kind of impossible to put on without assistance though. My other bra-sized bathing suit is a one piece and I can hook the bra and then wriggle it up over my hips and eventually into place-- this one I can't do that. It's way too snug (which works when it is finally one) to hook and rotate like a bra. (I know you're not supposed to do that to bras, but seriously-- how do people manage to hook their own bra behind their back?) It's not perfect, but I will keep it. I'd probably give it 3 1/2 stars if possible. I do like the adjustable nature of the length. I'm tallish (5'9") and if I wanted it to, it could cover my entire bikini bottom. I ruched up the sides to the low hip to create a little more movement (aka distraction from my stomach) in that area.

Finally a strapless tankini top w/ excellent support!

I have had this on my wishlist since last summer. I finally ordered it and am so happy I did. So many supportive tankini tops are frumpy, restrictive, and uncomfortable. I assumed that I would have to use the straps, but I don't...that's a huge plus. I'm very happy with this purchase. For reference, I wear a 36 D/DD bra size and ordered this in the 38 DD.

I love this suit

I love this suit, just like I love the bras by Panache. Lots of support which I rarely get in bathing suits. Well worth the money spent. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I haven't figured out how to get into this bathing suit by myself, yet!!! There is a "bra like" clasp in the back (hidden under the suit, which gives more support around the ribcage and underwire). I need my husband or someone else to do that back clasp. Otherwise, super cute, comfy and a timeless style where I don't feel like I am falling out every 2 minutes!

Length is too long

The cups are kind of too long and the length of the top is way too long. If you don't scrunch it up, it almost completely covers up the bottoms and if you do scrunch it up, there is too material around the stomach and it makes me look fatter

LOVE THIS TANKINI!

I received this top just yesterday and its so amazing! The quality is Great! As one other customer stated, i would've paid more for this top. I ordered a 36G and thought because it was UK sizing, it would've been too big but its spot on. The support is excellent and it covers my mid section well which was a plus for me. I also ordered the Isobel in Panache and the length was waaay too short but this is not the issue. I find it really hard to find a swim top that is supportive and covers my flawed stomach. Thanks again for this wonderful Tankini. I would definitely recommend this top for support and coverage and did I mention its a sexy top as well! LOVE, LOVE IT!

Good suit, poor strap attachment.

I like how it looks and how it fit, it's a very nice suit! I'd give it 5 stars, except the straps not being attached is annoying. It's already hard to get into (good support once it's on though, and I'm 40DDD) and the straps falling off at inconvenient times is very annoying. And also, the ribbon things the straps attach to have frayed to the point of falling apart, in less than three weeks of occasional wearing. I'll have to hand-sew the straps in place. With a better way to attach the straps, or permanently attached straps, I'd give it 5 stars.
