For people who like round cookies

Are you one of those people who feels like a failure if your drop cookies don't come out of the oven in precisely even perfectly round circles? Hate getting your fingers dirty trying to get the dough to drop off the spoon? Do you have difficulty calculating the exact amount of semi-solid dough mix that equals one tablespoon? Do you revert to ice cream when you burn your cookies because you didn't hear the timer go off? This scoop works for cookie dough, ice cream, melon, and anything else you need small scoops of when you can't figure out how to work a tablespoon. The only downside is that the stuff you're scooping can get stuck up under the little bar thing that releases the dough, so you have to pay attention when cleaning up afterward. Used it more than ten times already without a problem. Hint: if this breaks while scooping cookie dough, you may have used cement instead of flour.

Never thought of a coolie scoop, and I love it!

I am an avid baker and find this scoop very helpful for cookies and other scooping projects. Very well designed and sturdy!

Ehh, it works, but bent a little

Still usable, but the little scraper piece inside did get bent on the first few uses.

Quality and sturdiness seem to be very good!

We have not used this scoop yet for cookie dough. I ordered this particular product because all the KitchenAid products we have bought and used have done what is expected of them. This product seems to have very rugged stainless steel construction and the scoop action seems firm and strong. I have not run it through the dishwasher numerous times after use yet to see how it holds up. All the parts seem well made and robust at this time. I will withhold my full rating until I have a chance to use it and run in dishwasher etc.

Disappointed…

I’m sad to write this review beacause I love kitchenaid products, but this cookie scooper didn’t last long. I bought this to replace a pampered chef scoop that I had for over ten years hoping I’d get the same longevity out of this one. I bake a batch of cookies every week and about a month ago, the scooping mechanism got stuck and has a hard time scooping dough out. I am able to pull it back with each scoop, but the whole point of the scoop is to have perfectly shaped cookies without the mess. Maybe I got a dud but I’m on the fence if I’d give this scooper a second chance.

Do not buy for cookie dough balls!!! Too small for actual ice cream and too flimsy for cookie dough

I use this for cookie dough and the 2nd time I used it the crank piece slid and the mechanism wouldn’t release the dough because it was blocked. I ordered a new one and got my original purchase exchanged but the same thing is happening. Not very sturdy or reliable for a Kitchen aid product. Disappointed is an understatement. I want to return it and get my money back but I can’t seem to do that. Very cheaply made- the gear and prong that meet to actually release the product skips and doesn’t work to full capacity.

No sirve para galletas

Esperaba mucho más de un producto KitchenAid. En el primer uso para galletas se barrió el mecanismo y ya no queda en la posición original. Caro y malo.
