Tank weights
I use one of the pockets for a single 4# weight mounted to the tank strap rather than using single 2# weights in each of the rear BC pockets; better balance.

Look great but not exactly what was expected
These weight pouches appear to be a great value for their price. The construction appears solid, the buckle looks sturdy and the can fit a decent amount of weight. My guess is five pounds per pouch without any problem. The stictching appears clean and while I haven't taken them diving yet I don't see any glaring problem areas. The only strange thing and it may be a plus or a minus depending on what you are looking for is that the pouches I received do not appear to be the same as what is pictured in the listing. There is no large "PLANTIC" branding on the product. In fact there is no tag or branding on them at all. I personally like this and put it in the positive category. Second, these pockets do not have a grommet at the bottom as shown in other purchaser's pictures. Instead both of my weight pockets came with YKK zippers for easy weight dumping. I've included some pictures to show what I mean. Again, I think this is a positive thing but if you're looking for non-dumpable pouches you might be disappointed. Overall I think these are great and would definitely buy them again. The value for what you recieve seems to be very high as most other weight pockets are shockingly expensive for what they are.

Works in a pinch, could be better
These pockets hold hard or soft weights relatively securely but could be better. See below. Good: * No gaps between the pocket flap and pocket, lets you use smaller soft weights (1-2lb) and they won't squirm out like some other trim pockets (looking at you, XS scuba). * Big enough to stuff in 8lb per pocket. * Pocket material is not too stiff, pockets can be jammed together without taking up too much room (unlike, for example, the OMS trim pockets). Could be better: * The pocket-side velcro strip is oriented vertically, but the flap-side runs horizontally. The mismatched velcro leaves only a 1"x1" contact patch. * The clip strap is meant to be a backup in case the velcro lets go, but the strap cannot be cinched down at all. As other reviewers found, the strap nylon is too thin and slippery, so the strap loosens up easily. * Only one 2" webbing loop on the back, not enough slack to slip the pockets on to a tank strap or harness without removing other items. You will likely need to remove your webbing buckle and any triglides/keepers to install these.

Perfect size and composition for holding lead shot weights
Need to figure out the best way to keep them from sliding forward while diving and thus front-heavy at the surface.

Great for trim optimization
Moving a lot of weight to my tank bands really helps my trim as I'm a pretty big guy. Without upper weights, my upper body is way more buoyant than my lower, and not even by a little bit. Too many years of squats and deadlifts have my booty and quads too heavy and stronk. This helps balance it all out.

it's ok
maybe it's the only reasonable pocket in Canada Amazon, but actually it's a little bit big, and the strap is too easy to slip from the plastic buckle.

Good value and decent quality
I bought these for my BCD they are a good quality for the price I paid using them for my trim weights on my Zeagle BCD.
