THIS TOILET BRUSH MEANS LESS TOILING!

I generally trust the Oxo brand. It’s become known for household products which are typically ergonomically designed for ease of use. So I am hoping this toilet brush will offer the same. It appears to; I like that the brush is interchangeable when the old one has become worn. I can’t say so far that the device cleans any better than other toilet brushes. But I like that the brush holder is vented to allow the brush to dry.

Spiffy toilet brush

Works as advertised, better designed, and came in good condition. I like the added style to this one versus the white OXO one that I have; I've put this one in my guest 1/2-bath. Wand length/thickness has the same ergonomic benefit that exceeds other brush brands; it doesn't bend under pressure and the head is replaceable which saves buying a new set every time. The base is heavy enough to avoid tipping over. There is a slat in the bottom of the cup for evaporation but the bottom of the base doesn't have any ports, so there shouldn't be any rust from the brush. If others have reported rust, then it must be from leaving the base on a continuously wet surface.

Out of sight - Nice

Plunger is out of sight. Not much else to say. If you have a nice bathroom, you don't want an ugly plunger sitting there. Just gently lift up on the plunger's handle to remove it from it's stand and it opens like flower petals; then lightly place it back in the stand opening and the pieces close back over its ugly head again. It does the job like a champ. Nothing to say about the plunger itself. After all a plunger is.... a plunger. When it's enclosed in the holder, it's almost pretty; white and silver, crisp and clean. Yes I'd recommend it to friends. After all, it's an OXO.

I want to complain about the large sticker on the exterior...The first of these plungers that I purchased had the sticker on the back...the second on the front. The plunger itself is great...but THE GLUE THEY USE TO APPLY LABEL TO THE PLUNGER IS VERY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE (in fact I have given up) AND THERE IS A LOT OF IT AND IN THREE PLACES. I WAS A BUYER FOR 36 YEARS FOR A LARGE RETAILER AND WOULD NEVER EXCEPTED THIS TYPE OF GLUE..THE LABEL WAS USELESS ANYWAY...I AM STUCK NO PUN INTENDED WITH THIS DAMN GLUE ON BOTH PLUNGERS..IT LOOKS AWFUL AND OTHER THINGS IN THE AIR STICK TO IT...THIS IS JUST NOT ATTENDING TO DETAILS. I sincerely hope that whoever is bringing this in from where ever will change to a glue where the label can be taken off with ease and not all the residue left behind...It is not customer friendly...and anyone in this business should always think like a customer...I have been retired for 15 years and they had much better glues then...so this should not be Rocket Science...Sorry but it is the little stuff that can often make me nuts...

Great Product!!!

I've have purchased several of these and have never had a problem. If it rust as one reviewer stated then I believe you had it to long. It goes in the toilet and it's not supposed to last for years. After six months I purchase a new one for sanitary reasons. I also keep one in each bathroom. I don't like to,carry the dirty brushe from room to room. This is a great product and it never leaked or rusted on me. I also rinse mine in clean toliet water after I clean the toliet, and then shake it off in toilet and put it back it the terrific holder. For what it's worth I highly reccomend this product and I do not work for the seller or the company.

Best Toilet Cleaner

I used the Scrubbing Bubbles flushable cleaners for years simply for the ease of cleaning they granted. However, over time, I noticed they didn't have enough durability to really scrub a toilet down and were pretty useless for any dirt or build up under the rim. In an attempt to make our lives even less wasteful and more eco friendly, I ordered the stainless steel toilet brush and canister to use with Method Toilet Cleaner. I liked that the brush head was firm and durable and that after several months of use I could replace just the head vs having to buy a whole new brush. Th brush works like a charm. Really scrubs a toilet down and gets under the rim to attack the build up there with no problems. I'm looking at ordering a second one so I don't have to cart this one between bathrooms. The only con is the price, which I think is a little steep for a toilet brush.

Elegant!

Well, first I would like to say that this toilet bowl brush and canister set is very beautiful. I love the design. The handle fits well in my hand.The base of the canister is white plastic, so you don't have to worry about the bottom of the stainless steel getting rust on it, because the base is plastic. Also, the handle, like I said fits well in your hand, but the handel is white and the tip of it has stainless steel on it , which I love. HOWEVER, this set is brushed stainless steel! This is a problem that I have with Amazon. I have ordered stainless steel items from Amazon in the past and the stainless steel was either nickel stainless steel or brushed. My bathroom is polished stainless steel, so you can clearly see the difference in the stainless steel, but I love how beautiful this set is, so I kept it. I also bought the toilet plunger and canister set. Hope this review helps?

Stainless steel? NOT!

I've owned the all plastic version of this brush for years and have like it very much. It cleans the bowl easily. The handle doesn't flex while in use. The small brush head let's you get down deep into the bottom of the bowl. This version, however, has two issues: 1. The stainless steel finish got stained the first time I used it when a few drops of water dripped on the brush holder from the brush. I'm guess there was residual toilet cleaning chemicals in the water that caused this. 2. The all metal handle lacks the flexible section of the plastic version. It makes it more difficult to scrub deep in the bowl. This makes it harder to clean under the rim too. Finally, the rubber flex section of the plastic version gave you a convenient place to tap the brush on the side of the bowl to get rid of excess water before putting it away. I'm afraid I'm going to dent the handle or chip the porcelain if I bang this one on the bowl.

Great loo brush

This is strange to say about a loo brush but this is really clever and looks good. It is pricey but it’s very clever, like most of the Oxo good grips stuff it is worth the money.

Perfect brush

Let’s be honest; nobody enjoys cleaning the toilet. That’s why the task is used as punishment from summer camp to boot camp. Fortunately, this toilet brush makes the chore less icky and stores neatly away without dripping. It even cleans under the rim relatively well. My cleaning service does all of the “heavy lifting” and I’ve been assured this is the right tool for the job.
