OXO product home run again

If you are just starting out or upgrading your kitchen, definitely buy the whole multi-sized set. And I'll be jealous! Product packaging says: stay-cool pattern, squeeze for precise pouring, pattern provides structure, safe to touch right out of the microwave, "mix, measure, microwave and pour," dishwasher safe, no BPA, and satisfaction guarantee. Every single quality listed is spot on & absolutely true. In 2 of my photos I've tried to demonstrate why/how this measuring cup is able to pour so precisely. It has been carefully designed to direct contents to the pouring lip, NOT over it until you want it to go. Crazy, I know. But if you have ever tried to carefully pour contents using another go-to brand and had it over-pour, drip down the front, and generally make a mess you will wish you had known about this product decades ago. I can't imagine having to replace this -ever! I had not noticed that the picture on the product label is of syrup in the cup until after I snapped my photo. We splurge on real maple syrup, and anything that prevents syrup waste is a big deal. Not only did we not spill a drop of syrup on our pancakes, but I was also able to pour the leftover syrup back into the container easily and completely. There was hardly a drop left in the cup when I was done. A must-have in any of the available sizes!

I use it to measure laundry detergent

I have a non-he washer. I use about a quarter cup of detergent. I started out just sticking this in the washer like I could with the plastic detergent cup, but I like using it for a vinegar rinse as well, so if I just rinse it with the water while it's filling up, then I don't have to search for the cup again for the vinegar, and I remember that I haven't done the vinegar rinse yet so I just fill it and toss it in with the vinegar for the second rinse. So easy. Never had an issue with it.

My most used kitchen tool, feels great in hand and holds liquids sturdy inside even full!

I knew I wanted a 4cup measuring cup, before i had this, I had a single 2cup OXO silicone cup just like this, loved it so much that bigger would be a huge help for other things. Do not regret that, its been a few years and no measures have chipped off, no damage to the cup even after using an immersion blender for Dutch Babies, Crepes or Pancake batter within. After ordering this, my mom wanted my 2cupper but I still needed that, so we ordered the 3pack of 1/2, 1 and 2 cup OXO Silicone Measuring cups and I gave her the new 2cupper out of that set. I've had the 2cupper for at least 5 years and while is coffee stained, it otherwise is still idealy functional. All of these OXO cups nest well within my 4cupper as well to save even more space in our kitchen!

Best purchase!

I wasn’t sure how I would like heating the silicone in the microwave. I tend to be a glass person in the kitchen area. However, I was tired of dripping water on the counter when using the glass measurer, and since this is being used to pour water over the coffee grounds I gave it a shot. For the first week the water smelled like I was drinking from a brand new garden hose. It didn’t affect the taste of the coffee though. If I take it right from the microwave I need to wrap a towel around it as after 5 minutes on high it is hot. However, the best part is pouring the water slowly over the coffee and not having to mop up a puddle of water around the cup by the time I’m done. I’m in love with a measuring cup. Who knew!

It’s the simple things….

I bought this for one reason, and that is to pour detergent into and then throw it in the washing machine during its cycle. It’s silicone so it doesn’t get damaged, 10/10 would recommend!

Love the material and measurements are accurate

I got the cup and first thing I did was to check up if the measure lines were accurate, I’ve tried it with my Thermomix scales and they are. Happy I got it! The material and design seems like long lasting and good quality

Suits my needs perfectly!

I was tired of using too much liquid laundry detergent (the so-called markings inside the cup/lid are unhelpful). The detergent I use is 1.5 oz. For a normal load. Now it’s super easy to know how much I’m really using. This great little measure is easy to use and clean and has already paid for itself! I’m sure I’ll find a dozen more uses for it. Highly recommended.

Super handy as a detergent cup

We were previously using a cheap plastic cup to measure and pour liquid detergent, but when we ran it with the laundry it cracked. This cup is very thick, durable and the max measurement is the max we need for the machine so it's easy to gauge how much to use based on the load size. It's gone through many washes now and still holds up very well. Love this cup!

Great cup, I use it all the time

I bought it years ago when it was much cheaper but I use it all the time and dont regret at all!!! I use it all the time With smoothies, hummus and anything I need to pour into something else. It doesnt get hot and it is really durable and easy to handle. I have other sizes as well but the 4 cups is the one I use the most.

Perfect for Stick Blender - EVEN for frozen food/smoothies

The media could not be loaded. THIS THING IS FANTASTIC - purchased to go with blender stick for travel in lieu of big heavy bulky blender when stationed at a self-catering flat for weeks. BEAKER delivers above and beyond being a beaker for a stick blender - which is what i was hoping for My sense is this is way better in fact than the blender bottles that come with many sticks. at least that's the impression so far. IT's tall enough so the blender part of the stick really does get submerged in it - as per photo. And the beaker is also flexible (see video) - for some reason thought this would be stiff plastic but it's thick silicon - like what gets used to hold hot pan handles or instead of cloth oven mits - so can definitely take the heat. It stands up on its own, but being able to squish while zooming the stick in liquid in it is a benefit. Being able to move from microwave to fridge is also a bonus - assuming your nuker is tall enough - but that's not something i anticipate doing. You just don't feel much of the cold from frozen stuff or heat - great insulation in food grade quality material. Was mainly concerned about food gushing out as soon as turning on the power but no worries at all - filled even to 500ml is only half way full - so lots of room to stay contained - but even so - these sticks don't really kick up the liquid (see video) COLD AND HOT Also, was impressed with how with a 700watt stick managed to produce a smoothy from frozen fruit and ice, no problem. Also adding some green tea from a thermos that was still on the hot side - the silicon made it eay. Just make sure all the stuff like ice and frozen fruit is under the blades and then squish down so don't need to pull stick up and down (though that worked pretty much without incident too) The SPOUT is awesome to have as well - easy to pour for a quick test for flavour and thickness - and tall enough to stand up safely with stick in it - won't fall over when half full.. TRAVEL the container material/texture was a surprise, but the flex and thickness are not will make it even better for travel: cooking away from home and blender with this beaker, can pack the stick motor handle part into this vessel, and put that in between some soft stuff, and all done - well protected packing -without exrta bulky box. we're set to blend for the weeks away.

Excellent jug which I use for measuring and mixing resin - once the resin residue has dried it's pretty easy to peel off. Love the material 's flexibility means it's easy to pour accurately.
