AMAZING COMPANY!!!
I am so grateful that I found this company, iv bought a few things from outward hound and NO I AM NOT PAID for this review in any way, shape or form!!!! I just really love their products they focus on mental stimulation and I Love that!! I also love how they have different levels of difficulty and a wide variety to choose from that’s amazing! coming from someone that’s experienced with owning many different breeds of dog and have trained multiple breeds as well. I understand dogs and how they think. I’m an animal lover in general but I CAN’T STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT MENTAL STIMULATION is for dog’s or any animal for that matter these are good for rabbits, cats, ferrets, birds, even reptiles and other animals there not just for dogs!!! People often give their pets the physical activity that they need but neglect the mental stimulation they need. Mental stimulation is JUST AS IMPORTANT as physical stimulation!!! Animals are a lot smarter than what people think or give them credit for. They do have feelings, emotions, and need mental stimulation just like humans do. Boredom is one of those emotions! Their brains never stop. If you have a dog that has their physical demands met but still has behavioral issues, especially chewing up things you need to get some mental stimulation going on because they’re really bored or ticked off or both lol. When they’re not mentally stimulated their #1 behavioral issue they resort to is chewing and or destruction FYI that can also be a sign of not enough physical activity as well. If your dogs mental AND physical stimulations are not being met than you have a ticking time bomb on your hands!!! as you can see from the picture my pup Came out from the covers when she heard that rattle from the string toy (shown in the pic) she goes nuts over that one lol she loves doing all of her puzzles (shown in the pic) as well she’s so smart. One that I don’t have pictured here is the ball that you put treats in that’s one of her favorites! she will actually bring that ball to me wanting me to fill it up so she can roll it around on the floor to get the treats out lol I have the over the shoulder carrier as well (shown in the pic) I love thing too i believe it can be worn like a normal back pack AND in the front on the shoulders over your stomach iv only worn it over my shoulders in the front over my stomach it’s awesome very comfortable, sturdy and she sits right in it if I could give this company 100 stars I would!! definitely well worth your money if your undecided about the puzzles buy it!! Sorry for the long review I hope it helped and or educated a little bit

Super easy to use
This is super easy to use and my dog seems to like it. If you have a super smart dog, it may be too eat for them so you may want to try another type of puzzle. I originally purchased the Kong wobbler for my dog. It was okay, but I found that the hole was a bit too small. My dog’s kibble isn’t big at all, but I noticed that my dog gets frustrated because the kibble doesn’t come out of the wobbler very often or very easily for that matter. With this ball, my dog pushes it around with her nose and whacks it with her paws and a decent amount of kibble always comes out of the holes. The only thing I wish is that they made it so that you could twist the ball apart so that I’d have an easier time cleaning and drying it. Other than that, my dog seems happy with this product and so am I.

EASY TO CLEAN, GREAT FOR BIG DOGS
I love all of these puzzle toys for my pup. He is a 70lbs Pitty. This one is on the low end of "Level 2", so it's been great for confidence building. The treat holes are big enough for a few bits of kibble each, which makes it very high capacity if you want. So easy to clean!!!! Literally 3 SOLID pieces that snap together. No crevices and layers for stuff to get stuck in, so that makes it super easy to dry as well. Great quality. Most of these puzzles usually have a piece or two that can easily be destroyed by a big boy like mine, but, I can walk away for a minute or two and not fear that the toy will be completely ruined.

Too Smart for My Dog
This is a real complex toy. My dog spends a lot of time on it, but the piece where they have to line up the center with a pet in order to unlock it, and then know to unlock it??? Yeah, no. There's no pay it on that one. Or if frustration he ended up chewing off one of the pegs.... Still didn't get the treat. LOL! But yeah, it keeps me busy and they do get some rewards from the easier pasta of the puzzle. I got the level 3 too and he has learned hope to clear that out in about 20-30 min, and then spends extra time "checking his work" before moving on.

Most Durable (So Far)a
Bought this for our 8 year old male beagle/boxer mix (who has since passed) because he managed to break apart another toy that boasted to be "most" durable and provide "hours of play." That one lasted maybe half a day. Before him, we had a female boxer/pit mix who had no interest in playing with these toys. Our current 2 year old pit/terrier mix (who we have had for about a month) broke apart another old toy...another one we got for our beagle/boxer. It's been a little more than a month with our pit/terrier and the toy is still going strong! She has already torn chunks off the black Kong toy you can stuff with peanut butter. (I'm sort of afraid to post this review or give it 5 stars fo fear of jinxing something!)

Our dogs FAVORITE puzzle feeder
Our dog gets dinner from this at least once or twice a week. He’s an almost year-old Aussie so getting some extra brain workout is always top priority. I like this one because there isn’t a “trick” to learn - it always takes time to ge the food out, even once you figure it out. He does flip it over and try to chew on the bottom, but we try to keep it right-side up. Very sturdy considering it’s still working and my dog is pretty agressive with it, after almost 5 months.

Nice challenging toy for a clever poodle
The media could not be loaded. I've got a very clever miniature poodle (he's a Registered Assistance Dog for me) and I like to keep him stimulated. I had put this away for a future present but with having to shield, I thought I'd see how he gets on with it as he enjoys the spinning feeder but he's bored by it. He adores treats (due to severe allergies only the dog chocolate drops are ok for him - I got a big supply cheaply from Amazon too). So I thought I'd put a very small treat in each space, see what happens. The video is the FIRST time I gave it to him. He got the last treat out 10 seconds after I stopped filming. Took him 5 mins 15 seconds to get every treat out. Next day, I showed it to my friend, who helps to walk him while I'm shielding. She got dogs too. As I got it out,,my dog's face lit up and I knew then he loves it. Third time he used it, he picked up with his mouth, all the little white bricks and put them into a neat pile! I was amazed. Also 3rd time, he used much smaller neater movements to open it up and slide the little tubs. I've ordered more toys similar to these. Such good fun for both of us. I cut down on his foods bit cos of the treats involved! He will get this 2-3 times a week and I will make it harder by reducing the number of treats so some of the spaces will be empty, make it more challenging. This toy is suitable for dogs who like to think, not attack. Nit suitable for boisterous dogs who destroy things quickly and please play under supervision because some dogs may chew the bricks. But if you have a clever dog who likes to work things out, this is super! I'm going to try him on some of the Trixie Level 3 toys. By the way it stays fairly well in place on a rug or mat or carpet, doesn't move or slide around much.

BE WARNED!
BE WARNED, This is a good toy but my 4month old border collie puppy had the 6 rubber feet off In 5 mins which he managed to swallow! I was with him and did not realise until the next morning when he vomited 5 rubber feet up. The 6th arrived 48 hrs later in his stools. They are not small, hard rubber bungs. I was shocked and disappointed. I have informed the company, only reply is they are sorry my dog didn’t enjoy it?! Not impressed!

Keep an eye on the dog, somewhat obviously, if he/she’s a chewer.
I bought this for my nine-month old Border Collie, a clever and easily bored breed of dog! At first he was a bit scared of it and although I showed him how it worked, he left it in the middle of the room for a couple of hours. Curiosity got the better of him and although I had put two of the white bricks in, it didn’t take him more than a couple of minutes to work it out. A bit frustrating at first and he tried to eat the bricks! By the third try he pretty much had it worked out but it keeps him occupied checking that he’s found everything. People may be concerned about the number of treats given but I put slices of carrot, broccoli, etc., in there, which he likes. The instructions suggest putting string through the holes in the bricks. I did so and the dog did use it sometimes. If you’re going to suggest that though, manufacturer, perhaps put a length of string in the box. It adds to the cost to buy some.

NOT for chewers (cheap plastic)
Without the bones, our dog found all the hidden treats in about a minute. Once the bones were placed, it took him much longer and offered a nice level of challenge. HOWEVER, if you have a chewer on your hands (a golden retriever puppy in our case), he cannot be left unsupervised with this toy: he plucked off a piece and chewed it up and tore one of the plastic bones to pieces, and made his gums bleed!!! All this in a matter of 4 minutes of unsupervised play time. This defies the purpose of this toy, which was supposed to keep him busy while I can tend to other tasks. It's made of very cheap plastic that has injured our dog's mouth.

Fun and well made
My 45kg German Shepherd loves this. He works it out really quickly but that doesn’t seem to matter as he still is super excited to have it filled again. The bones are a good size so shouldn’t be accidentally swallowed by a large dog. We’ve had this a few months now and it still looks likes new, it’s very hard wearing, and my dog is far from gentle with it.
