Almost perfect.

This is a well made grilling tray that almost lives up to the promise of being able to carry everything you need out to the grill one handed. The thing that I wish it had was some hooks on the sides of the tray to hang at least a couple of the bigger tools like tongs and spatula to really make it a one trip affair. As it stands, you can balance them on top but hooks on the edges would have been ideal. The slot on the side is big enough for two beers and works well with cans (haven't tried with bottles), but you can't fit much else in there other than your meat thermometer. The tray is sturdy, thick walled and doesn't bend under the weight of everything. The "handle" which is sort of molded into the side storage area is nicely designed and easily gives you a good firm and stable grip on the tray. The lid is nice to have since you can marinate your food directly in the tray, lidded, my only complaint about that is that the lid is actually pretty difficult to remove - maybe it'll loosen up with use though. The tray is large and deep enough to fit a good amount of food. I feel like this would make a really nice gift for someone, I'm not sure it's something I'd purchase for myself as it's very much a "nice to have" but hardly something I couldn't live without. Overall, though, I think it's a pretty cool and useful tool to have.

Great item!

This is one of those items that you didn't know you needed until you saw it or tried it. I mean, I knew I needed a tray for marinating meat, my old one got tossed earlier this summer when it was leaking, so I was looking for a good tray. But as for the holding spots on the side, I never really considered how convenient it was. This tray is a great size and dept for me to be able to adequately marinate meats for barbequing or cooking in other ways. It is deep enough to hold the meat and marinade. The side pockets for holding barbeque sauce, spices and other items is perfect, my husband can easily grab this and run out to the barbeque without having to keep coming back and forth to get spices, sauces and other items. The cover clips on well and holds everything in place, this is great for pre marinading meat for a later meal or meat on the go like when we go to our camper. Fantastic and well made product, very sturdy.

Excellent grilling companion!

The media could not be loaded. This Grill Prep Station is constructed of nice lightweight plastic and has a solid frame compared to the typical silicone cooking molds that have been popular recently. It's durable and doesn't easily bend. I love that the edges actually have notches to fully encapsulate the pan underneath so that as you're in motion your precious meats do not fall out of the tray while you're working your way from the kitchen to the barbecue. It's got grooves to keep kabob sticks in place while at the barbecue, but they can't fit in this orientation while transporting the tray with the cover on, because of the sides of the lid, but that's a very minor issue. Also, it can easily fit a bottle of beer or sauce, a can of pop or a plastic cup in the cup holder area. Overall it's a great accessory for any griller in your life and will definitely serve us well!

A great addition to any one's BBQ kit!

I've been really happy with this grill prep station. It's fairly sizeable, built very well but is still light weight. This makes it easy to carry around while still carrying lots. This was clearly thoughtfully designed. The scored edges on the top makes it easy to carry around screws on top. The deep dish lets you carry lots of meat as well without too many things touching together. The cup holder like section works great for sauces, and the lid is a great addition to either store meats away after marinading or to use for cooked meats afterwards once cleaned. Overall for the money this is a great addition to anyone's bbq kit. 100% would recommend!

big and sturdy tray useful for barbecue

I am impressed with the quality and size of this tray. It is sturdy and easy to handle. We can even use one hand when carrying this tray. I like the durability of this product. It is easy to wash and clean. The lid is see-through and fits well to keep the meat fresh while it is marinating. The tray is big and convenient to take whatever we need from indoors to outdoors when barbecuing such as sauces and skewers. There is a place to keep sauces. I like the ridges that make it easy to hold skewers neatly until it is barbecued. This tray can also be used for other kitchen uses such as storing food.
