Great beach chair for sunning or chilling
I am tall and this chair does not place the back chair bar at my shoulders in an uncomfortable position. Has face and arm spots on it so you can lay face down without getting on the sand to sun your back! It is great for just sitting is on the beach. It also allow for adjustable positions. I did o y give it 4 stars for on reason. When you lay flat on your stomach for sunning, the bottom seat bar is in a bad spot. I am 6’1” and it doesn’t work great for me, but is fantastic in many other ways. Oh and did I mention the backpack option that allows you to lug it on your back for that long walk to the beach (and even longer on back off when you are heat tired and possibly had one too many ????) Great product and worth the extra cost. They hold up well over time as well. Took 4 years to need to replace. I have the chair and lounge versions of this product.

Decent Beach Chair
Decent beach chair, just received the wrong color twice. Returned the original and still received a pink one.

Not Made Well
I love the idea of this chair. The face hole to lay on your stomach, but the mechanism is cheaply made and breaks after one use. For $90 I hoped it would be made better and I'd be able to use it for longer than just once.

Best chair I’ve had
I spend A LOT of time at the beach, so my beach chairs get a workout. And I’ve had a lot of chairs - from cheap to very expensive. This one falls in the middle and is the most comfortable and practical beach chairs I’ve had. The construction is sturdy. I particularly like the no crossbar - so you can lay on your belly comfortably. The head space for reading is AMAZING!!! Also comfy for napping. It folds easily (unlike a Tommy Bahama chair I had previous) and is light to carry. Only thing it lacks is perhaps and extra pocket on the arms for a cell phone. Other than that, this chair is close to ideal. So bottom line… if you spend a lot of time at the beach GET THIS CHAIR!! You won’t regret it.

Broken
This chair is so great. Except for the fact that it was $80 and when I opened the box and pulled it out, sitting on the bottom of the box was one of the velcro straps to hold it together when you are carrying it. It seems that the stitching came off of it before I even got to open it. Very disappointed. Especially because it’s not just some $20 chair.

Poor Finishing On Stitching
Although this chair was comfortable, the finishing of the stitching was poor. A strap came unstitched the first time I tried to put it on my shoulders and the nylon webbing frayed as it was not heat sealed. Similarly the stitching under the seat was not properly cast off and started to come unstitched after a few days use - it didn't last me the two weeks of my holiday and I spent an hour repairing it on the beach! I returned it as soon as I got home - brilliant service from Amazon. Also an aluminium frame would have been lighter than 5kg. Keep looking !

This is a good chair, however it's adjustable plastic arm design is a serious weakness.
Good: While not whisper light, a sturdy 8 year boy had no problem lugging it around (backpack straps are a plus). my 50 inch waist found the chair width comfy, and the seat did not cut into my thighs. While the head pillow did need to be augmented with a beach towel it was much appreciated. Bad: After going through the reviews I could see that the arms were a weak point, but being the only adjustable beach chair I could get on short notice I figured I'd give it a shot regardless. First use out on the beach and sure enough a few hours in and the arms start to lose traction and slip. I should mention the chair was kept in a sunshade, temp topped out at 23 degrees C. While the chair hasn't fully collapsed and the internal hold points don't appear to be broken I anticipate it is only a matter of time, heat, and an unaware person putting some weight on the arms for them to fail. A robust adjustable arm would be worth an extra lb of weight and earn this product 5 stars.

Sturdy
This chair is sturdy. It’s also bigger and heavier than I expected. A smart feature is there are no metal bars beneath your thighs and seat or back. I used to have a tommy Bahama beach chair and it had a cooler pouch, zippered pocket for stuff, can holder and phone holder. This one only has a can holder. Only 1 star short of 5 because pockets would be an improvement.

Not as Sturdy as Advertised
At 6'3" 320lbs I purchased the chair due to it's weight capacity of 350lbs. Used only once and the front two seat support bars collapsed inward leaving chair virtually useless.

Cup holder too small
The only disappointing thing that I have with this chair is that the cup holder is too small. A water bottle or beverage tin, barely fits, & if you like to keep your beverage cool while at the beach in a cozy, you’re out of luck.
